I love going here when I'm visiting crossgates. The staff are genuinely so friendly and I end up speaking to them for a bit everytime i go in. Most reviews here are marked low due to the prices and the money they give you for items however I won't put lower stars because of this as I know it's policy and it literally tells you online what your gonna get! I wish they stocked the posters with new ones more often but the games are great and staff is amazing
Usually have a decent selection of stock, staff are always chatty, friendly and welcoming. Lost a star because if you want to contact them on the phone, in a nutshell, you can't... I recommend smoke signals, homing pigeons or going into the store…
Went in here for 1 DVD for my grandson and came out with 5. They have such a good variety and everything is in excellent condition. The staff are extremely helpful, not pushy just available when you need help. They have a range of different games too, X box, ps3,4 and 5. Games consoles, figures for skylanders etc and a wide range of mobile phones.
I hate the name of these stores. It's pronounced as ...s.e.x... but to avoid saying this, everyone just say's it in alphabetical form as ..C..E..X.. it's to much of a mouth full to say quickly , so the name becomes avoidable if possible. To me it suggests "tacky" I never bother with this store anymore , just can't be bothered with " name stupidity"...
I got a reasonable price for my items even if the price I was given on the phone, after testing, was different to that given when I came in. Investing in some air freshener wouldn't go amiss.
Needed a replacement phone for my wife. All are referbed and good value for money with a 2 year warranty. Staff are good and happy to advise.
Surly staff, unhappy overall with the inflexibility and the throw away approach to customer service when a mistake has been made in-store. I would not recommend , ebay is a better bet for good customer service and that's saying something
