   All the staff are very young and inexperienced and have no customer facing skills. Service slow, tables not emptied, toilets dirty, staff just not interested. Avoid this place and go to Caffe Nero if you are in Mere Green.

   I came in the other day to order a cappuccino and a croissant and was greeted and had my order taken by a young lady called Amelie. She was friendly, welcoming and talked me through my milk options due a recent diagnosis of lactose intolerance which i was pleased to have accommodated (i was not aware of the options and was pleasantly surprised).

   It's Costa. quite a big one. Only really busy on the weekends. As seems to be the trend these days very little by way of covid precautions. Every time I go there the tables are left with several customers rubbish

   Dirty tables and tired looking decor. Like most Costa s I’ve been in recently they are understaffed Basically they are now being run to maximise profits at the expense of the customer experience

   Love a Costa! Good variety of cakes and sandwiches if you get there early enough. Always clean and tidy, lovely staff too who make you feel welcome

   Tried the new honeycomb latte, can't say I'd recommend it, but the tables have been well spaced and it was clean and not overly busy, so that was good.
