We had Kaleh Pacheh and it was genuinely outstanding. Two full servings, exceptionally clean, well prepared, and clearly cooked with care. This is not something you come across easily in London, especially at this level of quality. What really sets Azmar apart is the generosity and attitude. Plenty of fresh bread, plenty of tea, and service that feels welcoming rather than transactional. No awkward counting, no reminders that β€œthis isn’t free”, no penny-pinching atmosphere. Just proper hospitality. In London, and particularly among Middle Eastern and Iranian restaurants, it has sadly become normal to feel nickel and dimed the moment you sit down. Here, it was the opposite. You feel looked after. Not because you’re asking for freebies, but because quality and respect for the customer actually matter. Prices are extremely fair for what you get, and the service is attentive, warm, and professional throughout. Highly recommended. This is a place I would confidently suggest to anyone looking for authentic food, real hospitality, and excellent value in London.

Awesome Middle Eastern food and great service. Their complimentary bread, soups, and salads were excellent. I had the chicken tikka platter, the chicken was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. I also tried the mixed platter; the lamb tikka was a little overcooked and felt slightly rubbery, but other than that everything was awesome overall.

Exceptional!!! I have lived in the area for 30 years. First time at this restaurant today. Just walked in after my Sunday walk I know all the restaurants up and down the road pretty well. This was next level. Great value for money Mixed grill for 2 was Β£28. It was fully loaded. Came with lots of starters and salad. Mixed grill was tasty and fully loaded. Limitless fluffy oven bread. Very attentive staff

Iraqi-Kurdish cuisine excellent food though it’s little salty. I’m a customer since 2009. It could be very busy and unfortunately they don’t take reservations. The service is excellent and the prices is cheap relative to other restaurants in London. The food in the photos cost about Β£50 and it’s enough for 4 people!

I’ve been going here for years. It’s incredibly popular in the area and you can see why. When you sit down, you are immediately greeted by friendly waiters and waitresses who give you free lentil soup, hummus, salad, and even bread which is incredibly. I highly recommend the traditional Lamb Khouzi which is the lamb shank along with the Iranian Kebab.

I'm glad I found this restaurant on Edgware Road. One of the best middle eastern restaurant. Food and prices: Food is really good and prices are so reasonable. I couldn't believe the bill when it arrived. Very good value for money. In addition to main course that you order they provide starters, tea and Irani bread as complimentary items. Staff and Ambiance: The service was also quick and the staff was really nice and helpful. The sitting arrangement is good as well and you can comfortably enjoy your meal. One of the best and recommended place to enjoy Halal food in Central London - much better than so many fancy and overly priced restaurants.

IT WAS SO DELICIOUS. Absolutely great food, great yougurt, very nice staff. You get greeted by some starter food that was fantastic, then staff comes for your order. It was a pleasant surprise some of the staff were or knew romanian. Id come here every time I visit London.

Great food, great price and I love the complementary tea and sweet after each meal. They are always busy and you have to wait for up to 20mins if you are visiting weekend due to the size of the restaurant. However, if you are in a small group then you might not wait for long.
