   Had an extremely rude staff member when I called at 8am yesterday. Real can’t be bothered type attitude. Either gave monotone answers to simple questions or had an undertone of frustration, but god forbid you should mention it, then suddenly the customer is being rude and that’s not “tolerated”! Told her there was an error with my delivery, offered to come to the store and collect the missing items, to avoid asking Uber for a refund but because she was so rude, I didn’t bother. Contacted Uber and got a refund instead.

   I regularly visit this coffee shop around 5 days a week. I do not mind being served by a range of baristas. However, this particular “barista” (Short, large build, hair tied back and fair skin) I have been served by a few times does not carry any customer service skills let alone the skills to use the equipment in order to make coffee. I visited on the morning of 19/09/2025 (same day I am leaving the review). As you can see the picture below is a picture of my coffee. From the moment I received the cup to my 10 second walk to the office the milk froth served by the barista had disappeared and the true craftsmanship of her skills were on show (I hadn’t even taken a sip yet). I ordered a skinny cappuccino however was left with a quarter cup of whatever you want to call that after the milky foam she served me had disappeared. She has never said please or thank you, puts sleeves on cups for customers she fancies but when I politely asked for a sleeve as the ones on the service table had finished she left me standing there and carried on serving people she liked with sleeves already on cups which makes me think she already knew the sleeves on the service desk were finished she just didn’t bother to top them up…

   Would love to give ZERO stars… Staff was all chatting and taking their time making my drink, I saw one of them ‘cleaning’ my spoon and it was still gross when they gave it to me. I couldn’t believe it… I went back to kindly ask for a clean spoon, and one of the staff members mumbled to another staff member “we don’t have those, haha”. Not so funny in my opinion… Absolutely disgusted by this Nero and will not come back here!

   I love coming here on my college days, + think the staff are super friendly. I'm not sure if I remember a lady with red hair, but the lady with brown hair (apologies for not knowing your name) is a sweetheart + it's a shame I've not seen her here much lately Especially nice on a rainy morning, or a sunny afternoon (before going to say hi to the geese)

   Very friendly, welcoming staff. Good coffee at just the right temperature. No background music (thankfully!). A bit rough around the edges and the toilet was a bit of a disaster zone, but I think that's every city centre coffee shop toilet is like anyway

   I stopped to grab some coffee the stiff are lovely but they coffee wasn’t that good I couldn’t drink it . I didn’t want to get back to complain that was the worst coffee In my life The place was lovely maybe next time you will find better barista

   The Milano hot chocolates weren’t as good as they normally are. They didn’t feel as thick or creamy. They were also served in takeaway cups which seems like such a waste when we’re sitting inside. The toilet was also in poor condition. Overall, a poor experience.

   Today around 3:30 me and my friend went to have a cup of coffee and the guy who was making and taking our order was extremely rude. My friend ordered a cappuccino while i was looking at the board for a different drink. I barely took few seconds and the barista started tapping his finger on the till and seemed very annoyed. His body language and way of talking were seemed very impertinent. Furthermore, the coffe n the hot chocolate tasted very different. Me n my friend just had a sip and left the place. The whole experience was not good. I normally enjoy a lot caffe nero in general but this caffe was something different (not in a good way)
