It's a wonderful restaurant, something different. Staff are lovely, and the food was delicious and fresh. I'm definitely going back again.
Welcoming and cosy atmosphere. The decor here is very nice. It's classic decor with lot of historic things. It's perfect spot to grab coffee or meal. Recently had big breakfast and it really hit the spot. Plus service is always so friendly and welcoming. There are two separate toilets facilities for ladies and gents. Parking is an issue. But you can park on side roads.

Its alright, get what you pay for, nothing spectacular but its great and you get served quickly!

Never heard of this place, a friend found it and wanted to visit. Upon entering you notice the funkiness of the place, where it wasn't robotic in a sense of everything had to look the same, and I loved that! The creative design and decor reallyakes the place Pop! From suitcase on the wall to fun childhood games to play such as connect 4, monopoly and more. This seemed like a great place to relax straight off the bat. We were told to take a seat anywhere and when ready to order come to the counter. The tables have menus under the glass tops so you're never without a menu (as some restaurants take them away). I decided to purchase the full English and my friend had a sandwich, but when our plates came out the kitchen, I was not disappointed! It looked amazing, so good my friend was in regret as to what he ordered, the quality was very evident, the food was prepared with care and the presentation was spot on. When eating the food, it was crunchy where needed and juicy where needed, the staff were lovely too. They have toilets on premises too, always a bonus, male and female split. Overall, really enjoyed this place and would revisit, 100%. Only reason for 4 stars is, if the quality and service remains the same the next time, it's a 5 no doubt! This place is also halal, great that it caters to all. PS: love the name, situated right opposite a prison, this really is 'The Great Escape'.
Very lovely breakfast which was beautifully cooked. The decor was also very cozy. My husband and I really enjoyed our morning here and the staff were very kind and attentive! Will definitely be visiting this local bistro often!
