   Customer service was poor due to a lack of knowledge about what can be sold. Yellow price tag apparently means last of stock. We were sent away while they prepared the display item for purchase. Upon return, they asked for more time to uninstall the display setting. We went away again to then be told we were unable to purchase this item, and we had been miss informed. The supervisor tried to avoid interaction with us. The explanation given was confusing and poor. We asked for a call back on the following working day with an explanation or solution. Needless to say, a follow up call did not arrive. I would never purchase from Currys again, nor recommend this store based on experience.

   Mixed opinions about this store. One employee helped me to find an Apple Watch and made sure that I got the spec that I wanted within my budget. Another employee told my partner and I that a Lenovo tablet case would “fit any of the Lenovo models” which we later discovered was a complete lie. Unfortunately, we have lost the receipt for the case, but we wouldn’t have purchased it if he had checked that it would actually fit our tablet.

   Visited today, asked if they had a certain iPad in stock which they did, please can I buy that. Told they were busy and there was a queue. Waited 10 more minutes, another lady walked in wanted a laptop, helped straight away and off she went. Will not return, very rude.

   Returned my sons ps5 December 4th because it was faulty, was told it needed to be sent to sony, no problem! Tracked it and it wasn’t sent until the 15th, why so long? We expressed the urgency in getting the item repaired as our son is autistic and relies heavily on this console. Since then we have had no updates, constantly being passed back and forth. We’ve put in a complaint to which a store manager should have contacted us and they haven’t. We have one extremely sad and frustrated lad who we can not give answers to because no one is helping or updating us! It’s disgusting how long this has gone on for now. Why doesn’t anyone answer the phone at meadowhall!?!?

   Was looking for last minute gifts for Christmas and struggling to find the right tablets anywhere. Found a very helpful member of staff who didn't just trust their handheld device but went into the back of the store. Not only did they find 2 matching that we needed but also came back with covers and informed us of a deal where we get them for free (normally £60 each) so we were very happy. Couldn't fault them at all.

   Good stop for tech gifts and larger purchases. Would recommend ordering ahead if you know what you want, though. They don't keep too much stock in store. The staff have always been friendly and helpful though, so if you don't know what you want just drop by and ask!
