Fixed a circuit board on our table saw for a very reasonable price.

They did a brilliant job at diagnosing an issue with my candyfloss machine and fixing it. It was done in a day, in time for my next party and the machine now works like new!

Cant praise this shop enough, spoke with a really helpful guy called Steve, who managed to find a suitable replacement component /PCB board part while I waited. Got home and my extractor fan now works better than when it was new! Really pleased because its saved me £250 on a new extractor and a lot of hassle fitting a new extractor and possibly having to re-tile too. I also love repairing things because I'd much rather pay a good business like Nova in Sheffield than slave labour in China to make a new one, and save the environmental impact of making a new one too. Win win. Thanks

This company agreed to try and repair a rare 1990 Philips HiFi radio/cassette player out of a similarly rare 1990 Renault I own, which I shipped to them in March 2023. Initially telling me to expect a two week turnaround, they then held the radio for three months with me repeatedly having to chase for updates. A month in, they'd told me "We are making progress, we have cured two faults" without providing any detail of what they were, but admitted they'd not yet been able to resolve the issue I had actually asked them to repair (the radio display not appearing on the separate LCD screen, also sent). Eventually when they shipped it back to me, telling me they hadn't been able to fix this fault, it arrived poorly packaged resulting in the radio fascia being damaged with bits of broken plastic in the box. When I informed them of this, they offered to try and repair the damage if I sent it back to them. I decided against this, for obvious reasons. Recently (hence the reason for this very late review), I decided to try and reinstall the radio in my car to see if there was any life left in it. It was only at this point I discovered that the LCD screen had been broken internally, and the radio wiring at the rear of the unit was no longer actually connected inside of the radio (which I can only presume had been done for testing purposes and left like that). Effectively, the radio is now completely ruined. The only plus in all of this is that they didn't charge me, presumably as they didn't have the gall to do so. Photos show the unit before I sent it, and how it arrived back (note there was packaging in the box, albeit sitting above the radio rather than properly wrapped around it to provide protection, but it's not shown in the photo).

The control panel to my electric immersion heater had just died and a replacement from the only manufacturer was eye wateringly expensive. Found NOVA electronics on Google and sent them an email of my problem and some images of the Circuit board. They quoted a very reasonable price and were very confident they could fix it. I immediately posted it to them with priority next day delivery. The following day I went to check if they had received it and to my amazement they were already working on it. In no time at all they told me they had fixed it and sent it back to me. Super quick 3 day turn around. Extremely happy and the repaired board works like new. Highly recommend. Thanks Elias

Fantastic service and a pleasure to deal with enthusiastic staff where nothing was too much trouble made to feel welcome even though my big problem was probably nothing to Steve…First class

Many thanks to Steve. i cannot recommend this company enough, people like this are a dieing breed they really are. Although i only bought a spare part and fixed the problem myself, the tips and advice were a massive time saver. If i could`nt have fixed it myself (this was likely with my knowledge) i would have sent my board to them without a doubt. Special thanks to steve.
