If you’re into small, independent cafés that feel like a proper find, this needs to be on your list. Cool without trying, edgy in the best way, and full of personality, this place absolutely nails the vibe and the food. We went for brunch and honestly… sensational. I had the veggie brunch, which was packed with flavour, beautifully balanced, and clearly made with care rather than just thrown on a plate. Every element worked, and it felt fresh, comforting, and indulgent all at once. My partner went for the sriracha scrambled egg flatbread, and wow — perfectly soft, with just the right kick of heat. Bold, messy in a good way, and completely addictive. The kind of dish you keep thinking about after you’ve left. What really sets Fika apart is that it doesn’t feel like another copy-and-paste café. It’s intimate, creative, and genuinely cool — the sort of place you want to gatekeep but also desperately want to shout about. Great atmosphere, welcoming energy, and food that proves simple done well will always win. 10/10. Go. Try it. You won’t regret it.

Beautiful venue, friendly staff, prompt service, excellent food and at reasonable prices. We swung by on the off-chance they'd have room for 8, after we'd walked in the lickey hills. It was cold, it was christmas eve and the food served was flawless. All 8 of us were v.happy with what we ordered. Great pizzas, amazing flatbreads. We'll be back!

"Cofton on The Green: A Perfect Train Trip Destination" Our quest for exceptional coffee shops and restaurants led us to this gem in Barnt Green, recommended by a friend who clearly knows quality when they see it. The sunny weather made it perfect for a spontaneous train journey from Four Oaks, and after an hour's pleasant ride plus a brief three-minute walk from the station, we found ourselves settling into a lovely window table. We ordered their enticing sausage and bacon on flatbread, paired with iced Americanos enhanced with hazelnut syrup. The flatbread proved to be a revelation - the flavours were so perfectly balanced that I'm glad I resisted the temptation to add any additional condiments. The coffee was equally impressive, with the hazelnut syrup providing just the right touch of sweetness to complement the smooth Americano base. The excellent service matched the quality of the food and drinks, while the lovely interior décor created a welcoming atmosphere that made our visit feel special. The combination of accessible location, outstanding food, great coffee, and attentive service has definitely earned Cofton on The Green a regular spot on our dining rotation. I suspect we'll be making this train journey quite frequently in the future.

Cofton pizza is by far THE BEST! To have them serving up pizzas in a local establishment is a dream. We’ve been for both pizza and breakfast. The pizza is sensational. Light, flavourful crust, high quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. For the breakfast, we both had the breakfast in the folded pizza base, but will try a plated one next time as we missed the beans/tomato element, which doesn’t come with what we ordered. It was lovely nevertheless and despite being in a pizza base, not too heavy at all. Service is friendly and welcoming and of the sun is shining it’s great to sit on the decking out front. We will be back again soon for cocktails.

Recommended by a friend who travels from Birmingham, we've been here 3 or 4 times for drinks, pre dinner elsewhere. Relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Staff are young and friendly with a positive vibe. We're back on Saturday & bringing friends! Garrity's is a great addition to Barnt Green that is thriving. Give them a visit you won't be disappointed!
