The food is very, very average, people reviewing how great food is - did we eat at the same place? How can this place have better reviews than 5-min away Kish? Not saying Kish is at the top of Persian restaurants but it is 100% better than here. Prices dont reflect quality as well, so I am not sure why anyone would return here, unless you NEED to have Persian food and dont want to walk 5 min or order online.

At a walking distance from the famous Abbey Road Studios you find this gem a Persian restaurant ,Almas (diamond). It has a great atmosphere & decoration lovely seating outdoors and indoors, and beautiful painting on the walls. Best of all It serves delicious Iranian food. Went with the family on a Sunday afternoon for a late lunch.Received with a warm welcome by the waitress, we were served with a courtesy small stater dishes with hummus and yogurt cucumber that was tasty until the main meals arrived. We had Barg (a lamb steak) with rice and salad, also had Kebab which also comes with rice and salad. The food was absolutely tasty and the looks of the plates also looked delicious. I do recommend Almas and would definitely visit again.

Picked this place to have a celebratory lunch with my friend I wanted to try a new cuisine. Was absolutely astounded by the selection of dishes they had with reasonable prices. I got the barg. Meat was slightly tough to cut through but nice and flavourful anyway. Loved the rice, soft, crispy on top and fluffy The prawn rolls were delicious and crunchy. Naan bread was lovely! Doogh was an interesting drink to try for the first time, a savoury minty yoghurt drink. Very fragrant but was not fond with the saltiness and tanginess for a drink. Service was really lovely. The restaurant was surprisingly quiet for a Saturday afternoon. There was only one waitress on the floor, but luckily she gave us a buzzer to use to get her attention which was considerate. Although I canβt comment from authenticity, I would come back here again if I were to crave Persian food.

Almas Restaurant is one of the best Iranian restaurants I have ever visited. I came from the United States to London for a short trip, and during my stay, we decided to try this restaurant. Every dish we ordered was of excellent quality and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place to everyone, and Iβm sure you will love it as much as I did.β

Came here recently for a family wedding, with around 40 people in attendance, which was held in the event hall below the restaurant. Overall the whole experience was great. The space was good, food and service were amazing. Would definitely recommend to others looking to host events or just for a meal.

A beautiful family-run business. Their Google reviews got us here and it didn't disappoint. The family were so welcoming, discussed the menu with us and made sure our experience was meeting the high expectations they clearly set themselves. The food was incredible and reasonably priced. Really looking forward to our next visit. Thank you!

Some of the best Persian food in London. The starters were so fresh, and the mains were generous portions. We ordered the sabzi and the mixed grill for 5 people and the food was more than enough at incredibly reasonable prices. The service was so speedy and the owner was very friendly and welcoming. The decor of the restaurant is very beautiful, and the outdoor seating is great for summer. Could not recommend this place more.

Five stars customer service, very clean and bright restaurant, generous food portions and they go the extra mile to satisfy customers. Music was not loud so i enjoyed catching up with my friend and we stayed there for a good few hours. They kindly offered us free large tea pot.

Discovered this nice restaurant last week for the first time, very clean and elegant, the service is very high quality. Pretty various menu, I've tried few different dishes and they all were pretty tasty and good size portions as well. We were also impressed from the dessert and the tea that was amazingly full of flavour. Definitely I'll be back there again. Thank you Almas!

This place is outstanding and definitely a hidden gem! I used to find it really difficult to find authentic Persian food near me but that is no longer the case. My friend and I were blown away with the amazing quality of meat and flavours of the food, really succulent lamb and chicken. The crispy rice was a real treat too, as was the pot of tea! Will definitely be visiting again, real soon.
