Nice little find for a quick dinner near our hotel. Booked through "The Fork" but upon arrival the waiter knew nothing about our booking. However it was a quiet mid-week evening and he offered us a table straight away. Food amazing and nice touches like the menu written in two languages. Very reasonably priced Would recommend this place.
Great Iraqi restaurant with amazing food and ambience. They place classic Arabic songs on TV which add to the experience. Quzi came with a big piece of meat and portion of rice that can feed 2. The aubergine stew is vegetarian but the okra strew has beef in it. Overall would definitely return.

If you are looking for delicious Iraqi food in generous quantity and an amazing service in a simple cosy place, this place is for you! We went there for Ramadhan Iftar and booked a table for 7 people so they suggested an Iftar for £35pp that includes: - Starters: dates, lentils soup and small plates like hummus, Baba Ghannouj etc… - Main dish: lamb shoulder with rice and Kefta and chicken screwers, eggplant tomato sauce with rice, fries. - Dessert: traditionnal sweets. (iraqi coffee, iraqi tea and still water included !)
We are French tourists. We stopped by chance in this small restaurant near our hotel. We recommend it 100%. The waiter is top, the food is excellent and the dishes as well as the people are generous. The prices are very correct given the quantity of plates. We enjoyed ourselves. Thanks again for everything.

Manager deserves 10/10 for prompt response and support. Possibly wasnt our lucky day but some food especially the Kabab doesn't meet the kanteen description of available meals. Over all and for this particular experience for price and other services (to be updated later) worths 2.5 to 3.5. Otherwise nice spacy space, cook is good but needs some time to familiarise with the canteen as described regarding 1/3 of meals only otherwise the cook showed high professional level in cooking for 2/3 of the provided dishes. Basement towards toiletry requires improvement. I expect with time and further experience for this place to excel in the nearby future. 'i really admire the restaurant willingness in learning from feedback to improve their service which is rare these days' Each meal evaluation will be posted later NB: of course don't expect a nearby parking space. Rules have changed so many be it worths checking nearest parking availability. Will definitely visit this restaurant again as we have missed the famous dishes mentioned by others, like grilled seafood etc. Thus this review is limited to the dishes shown on photos and on this occasion only and is not conclusive nor can be take as a fair rating to the service provided during the visit. Highly recommend Lamb Tikka (lamb chops) and very sadly I couldn't find, among what dishes to recommend, the big famous middle east Kubbah (Kebba) as this restaurant makes the best of any other Kebba tasted in other restaurants.
Really, really good food, the best hummus I've ever tasted and wonderfully kind staff.
We arrived for dinner 2 families with 4 children (2 under 4). The staff was welcoming and courteous. We were given a big table and some space was made for the push chair. The staff has been great during the whole time, even when our little ones were dancing in the middle of the room (admittedly the restaurant was not very crowded or we wouldn't have let them!). The food was really good. It was our first experience of Iraqi cuisine and we loved it. Lots of flavour and healthy tasty food. All around a great experience, we'll definitely come back.
