For me, it is by far one of the most amazing Lebanese restaurants I’ve ever eaten. The Boneless chicken box I’ve eaten was amazing, Ramia and the whole team has looked after us very well. I’ll definitely come back again to this place.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly at home. My family and I had a wonderful dining experience, with every detail thoughtfully taken care of. The food was exceptional, beautifully prepared, full of flavour, and presented with care. Each dish reflected both quality and passion, making our meal truly memorable. This restaurant offers more than just great food; it provides an atmosphere where you can relax, connect, and enjoy time together. I wholeheartedly recommend visiting, you will not be disappointed. A sincere thank you to the team for making our evening so special.

I fully like what the owner has been promoting, honestly it’s something that I’ve never seen/heard from restaurants before, definitely a people’s person! However my experience wasn’t what I expected :( After watching Gary Eats review I definitely wanted to try the food here, I came around 9ish.. not busy… saw the nice lady from the review. However I walked to the counter and awaited someone, a guy turned up and I told him I wanted the £10 half chicken meal, I then pointed to the poster. He rushed off left me standing there unaware of where to sit. Ahead there was a uncleared table so I sat another table which had bottles on it and it was greasy. I was trying to get the waiters attention but he didn’t look up, I moved to a table nearer to the counter which later turned out to be a big mistake! The food came very quickly, but it didn’t look like half a chicken.. I was very confused.. and the chips were cold. I told the waiter and he grabbed some chips if my plate and just squeezed them… then took it to the cook, the cook looked over at me and the waiter said something in foreign and put his hands up which didn’t sit right with me.. I would’ve left if I hadn’t already paid!!! Before my food came I had a good look at the poster and there were 2 different types of rice and the waiter didn’t even ask me.. yes I should have noticed but he should’ve asked. I asked him about it but he’d already decided what rice he wanted to give. So my food came again and i had to ask for the sauces which should’ve come with the meal.. also there was no forks just spoons in cutlery holder. As it got busy I had people brushing against me and the table as they’re getting served and I’m trying to eat… I had to move.. sooo not enjoying!!! Plus waiter didn’t offer me a drink.. after watching Gary’s review I sooo think of the lady served me the experience may have turned around. It did start to get really busy and my seating became uncomfortable making me just want to eat and get out! Normally after eating at restaurants I like to say thanks and just show staff some kind of appreciation for their services, but today I just couldn’t wait to leave! Seriously! I very much doubt I received half a boneless chicken and it was flavourless, the salad was very minimal, pickles were too salty!! The room was a bit cold too.. overall… for £10… not for me.. I won’t be coming back. Sadly bad experience! All the best regardless!!

We visited very late on a cold night (23rd October) & Managed to place an order Honestly we felt pressured into Ordering more than 1 of their Evening offer Although it is a good deal We would’ve preferred to Have ordered just 1 to try The order took a very long time To be made, Which seems odd Because they were not that busy When we had entered. By the time we got home Our food was cold So we had to reheat everything The chicken shawarma was Well cooked but completely plain They did give some dips with the box But it still lacked in flavour The grilled chicken was much nicer The rice & chips were okay The salad was very little & The pickle was just so salty Overall for £5.99 You can’t really complain But the wait & Other factors We wish we had only Bought 1 box to be fair. We understand why it is viral But some improvements Can still definitely be made Best wishes to everyone at Shawarma Hut. ✨

After seeing the videos on Tiktok, I decided to drive down to South London to give this place a try. I ordered the Evening Meal, being £5.99 (at the time of writing), which came with fries, rice, chicken shawarma & half roast chicken. Was very nice and juicy. I understand this was a part of an offer, hence the price to quantity ratio may not be representative as to how much value of my meal, but for this, it is incredibly good. The half roast chicken was marinated & based with their in-house sauce, tasted somewhat like peri peri. The chicken shawarma pieces were sliced were thick, giving eat piece a bite. You can tell the chicken was not breast meat but leg, as it was moist and juicy. I would recommend this place to anyone/everyone, but bare in mind, my review is based on the offer only.

My fave restaurant in London. The staffs specially the chef and the waiter in east street branch is lovely. They are always so cheerful even if we dine in late! The Chicken and Shawarma is the best i have tasted, it is so addicting that we always have to come back for it every week!

It was my first time visiting with my partner and we both loved it. The food was absolutely gorgeous. We'll definitely be coming back as we live nearby.

A very friendly atmosphere and welcoming staff. Always chatty and smiling. Food is prepared fresh, so can take a bit longer, but is tasty and good quality. I've never eaten in, only take out, but it's well presented and well packed. Still warm and tasty when I get home. Decent portion size, and good value for money. The queue outside during lunch time is a good indicator of how good the food is and how popular they are
