A great find by a friend, based in an old mill a rare treat to see a play was a fabulous success. Most including me in our little group have mobility issues, so on a flat surface is always welcome as this is. With helpful staff a clear clean environment and clean toilets a great welcome awaits even when mobility is slow. Hats off to a great venue in the heartland of the industrial past. Great, thank you.

Lovely little theater, the stage is not raised and the front row is 4 feet from the stage area of that. Very close and personal. Have visited many times and never been disappointed. Book a table and pizza for before the show.

An incredible space, very vibrant and very attentive and kind staff.I've just enjoyed the sunday matinΓ©e of Young Frankenstein, the west end quality production was phenomenal and deserved the standing ovation it was given. Here's to the next ten years of Hope Mill Theatre and your exciting and innovative outreach projects. congratulations and lots of luck .

(October 2025) What a lovely experience. We went to see Frankenstein The Musical; plenty of parking on site. We booked a table to have pizza and drinks before the show. It’s a rustic room, with plenty of seating. The show was fabulous and funny. Not too many people either, even though the theatre was full. My ONLY regret was booking seats on row B. The staged levels means the last row is shorter than all the others; this is just before A seats sit on the actual floor. Every other row has ample room, but the entire B row is squeezed in because there is not enough space for the chair. Great view of the stage though, but I wouldn’t sit there again.

Love this little theatre. Tucked away between Ancoats and Miles Platting it delivers great musical theatre and drama whilst a lot of the time delivering a message around LGBTQ+ culture. Food is great for a pre show meal and whilst small it has a big heart and reputation.Highly recommended for regional shows and premiere's..

I provided a photo booth for a wedding at the theatre and it had great access and accessories to set up without any issues. Top venue

The actors on stage were fantastically lit up in this intimate and well ventilated theatre. A bar just outside with plenty of seats for comfortable socialising, and a clear view from the seats in front of the stage, makes this theatre a popular choice for shows. I look forward to performing here.

Brilliant production of Cinderella last night, laughter throughout the room all through out the performance. Brilliant cast who all have good futures in their industry! A big thank you to Adam Bowler for the invite and hats off to the him as even on his night off he’s grafting and helping out
