Great pub & great atmosphere. They have a fantastic range of beers and ciders. I love that they have a jukebox and you can choose to put on whatever you want. Offers a safe environment. Charlie & Robyn are very welcoming, chatty and provide good banter between customers and regulars. I’ve noticed Charlie’s wide knowledge of what they offer in the pub and can give good recommendations.

This is a cracking pub, the service is first class and the beers generally good. Love it out the back in the summer as you don't have to climb those stairs.

Great pub which always has a good selection of ales and Belgian beers. Reasonably priced with friendly staff. There’s an old walled garden at the back and indoors is cosy. There’s also a jukebox which you don’t get to see so often now. Well worth a visit.

Without doubt my favourite pub in Tamworth, I always head back here whenever I'm in the area again. Normally they have four ales on, always in excellent condition, as well as a number of real ciders too. On top of that they have a real beer garden too, what more can you ask for.

A great real ale drinkers pub, always have a selection to suit every ale drinkers taste, great juke box, friendly locals, CAMRA discount, but low prices to start with, I visit most weeks.

Now I love this pub. It's quirky, it's cosy, it's got great beers and the staff behind the bar know their job. It's also one of the few pubs in the UK where I've regularly entered into unsolicited conversations with otherwise strangers, and I'm not even a regular. It's even got a jukebox. It ticks all the right boxes for me. Oh, and it's dog friendly.

Only a small pub, but probably one of the best in the town. Renowned for good quality ales, particularly Oakham and Salopian. Music is played at the right volume to add to the atmosphere. Toilets are upstairs.
