   Well what can I say this place is outstanding. We approached the globe inn 18months ago as we was looking for somewhere to have our wedding reception. We noticed that they had a function room. We arranged to meet with the manager Claire to discuss our options if we was to hire their room. From that minute until our special day she was amazing so accommodating, helpful nothing was too much for her. I must of emailed 100s of times (sorry Claire) with so many questions and she was so swift with her replies a lovely lady. We will always be grateful to her. She did us so proud she helped dress our room which was breathe taking it was absolutely amazing. The food was amazing a big thank you to the chef. Huge portions and hot just how we like it. ( sorry I couldn’t eat my meal I was too overwhelmed I just wanted you too know it was beautiful) all our guests were over the moon with their meals and the buffet for 50 wow stunning.A huge thank you to Ben and his son the in house DJ he did a remarkable job had everyone on the dance floor, loved all of the lighting and sound quality ourselves and our guests had the best night ever. We also stayed in the hotel with family and friends rooms were lovely,clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely.Thankyou to all of you for being part of our special day you made everything perfect in every single way. Love Clare and Steve x

   We had a party at the Globe. The staff were superb the function room was great a lovely sized room a separate bar and facilities. We arranged food for 50 guests and and it was the most outstanding spread I have seen with so much food provided. The venue catered fully for allergies for us too. Great prices at the bar and the in-house DJ was equally good provided music for all ages. Plenty of parking too. It's no wonder this venue is booked up months in advance.

   Great place for a delicious freshly cooked meal. There's also a lovely function room for weddings and other celebrations. Staff are all friendly and welcoming. A really lovely pub in the centre of Tamworth

   because i put this review on there fb page to be banned ill add it here stay well away had the function room on Saturday 11th March was told 7 til 11.30 booked it for hubbys birthday party asked staffs bout dos n donts ECT brought confetti n party poppers got there to find items removed from room pizza apparently was cooked but guests say it wasn't the cheese actually fell off it so wasn't cooked bar shut at 10.30 no mention to myself after this we had to use main bar area dj packed up at 10.35 room lights on but had room til 11.30 to be told on message it's 7 til 11 when messaged day after party not happy as a host staff should make things aware to people booking the function room will not be returning it's a shame 10 years ago we had an amazing wedding evening party here hence going bk for hubby party but never again feel cheated

   When I checked in, I went to my room it was still in the state the previous user had left it. Luckily I was only dropping my things off to then go straight back out to return later. Whilst I was gone they made the room up and it was very clean and everything laid out very well if it were not for my room not actually being ready they would have got an extra star and it didn't use the facilities so couldn't comment or add another star for that reason

   Phoned at 8pm to see if they could cater for a party of 4, which they could. Arrived 20 minutes later and the friendly courteous staff provided us with a hot, home cooked meal within a reasonable time frame. Prices are excellent and well below the local chain pubs.
