We popped in for lunch, the service was very good and the staff were polite and helpful. We had the chilli, and Hunters chicken from the lunchtime menu, it was very nice but there were not many chips with the chicken. Just a few more chips would have made it perfect. Will be coming again though.
The local motorcycle club I am a member of had their Xmas party at the Wigginton recently (Dec 25) and it went very well. Everyone enjoyed the food prepared which included a buffet and for some hot food. The pub manager very accommodating during the planning stage and on the night. The staff worked hard and the room was well prepared. It was also good value for money. I’d recommend this venue for both groups and for individuals.
Outstanding service, we are regulars multiple times a week. The food incredible, the staff are lovely and helpful and the drinks are always great! Great atmosphere and always hosting events 10/10
Extremely friendly and welcoming pub. There was a wake on in the restaurant, so really only bar snacks available. They kindly offered to cook us fish and chips and they were outstanding. We were in our motorhome and they were very happy for us to stay the night on their large car park. What a welcoming and friendly pub.
I was treating my husband to a birthday lunch, and the pub was quiet, lovely, and spacious, very wheelchair accessible as my husband has a mobility scooter, very friendly staff, didn't have to wait long for food, price's are quite reasonable.
Visited yesterday and had the roast beef dinner. Absolutely beautiful, cooked to perfection with real home made mash too. Love the atmosphere here too and the staff were super helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend.
What a lovely relaxed atmosphere ,.have been here several times now staff always very welcoming! Food and drink - no complaints. Well recommend
Visited the Wigginton last night for a meal and a few drinks. Was served by jayne and another lady how I didn't get her name. Was a Lovely environment and friendly staff. Food was lovely and good selection for the kids with a under 5's menu, over 5's menu and also a larger appetites menu. Main menu had lots of choice aswell with the option to add extra toppings or sides if required.
