I popped in while I was in the area just after hearing positive reviews on the food and customer service, got talking the chef seems like a nice guy and 10/10 for his food
Popped in today on an off chance, had a pleasant experience. Managed to get talking to the manager Ash who made me feel extremely welcome especially with me being on my own and the barmaid Charlie was extremely friendly and lovely to chat too. Bubbly personalities all round in this pub. There's a nice little play area outside for anyone who wants to visit with their kids. All I can say is thank you to Ash and Charlie and I'll be back!
Amazing service from the young lad Ez,behind the bar, extremely polite and welcoming! Ashley's customer service was second to none, nothing was ever too much for him from the drinks to the food! Jerk chicken tacos are an absolute delight! Can not thank Ez and Ashley enough for their hospitality!
My friends and myself have been using the Toby Jug for years, the bar staff and the locals are friendly. The Beer is good, the garden area really nice on a sunny day. It's a typical traditional pub that I feel comfortable in.

I Dj here every other Saturday and I must say the people and staff there are great never any trouble in there friendly service and friendly people, I tried the cafe that just recently opened there and it’s by far one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a long time, I have a cafe round the corner from my house and I live a fair distance but would rather travel to the Toby cafe and affordable prices
I used to visit this pub at least once or twice a month to catch catch up with family and friends and regulars that have now become amazing friends. I then become great friends with Liam and have friends who are bar staff. One day I saw them rushed off there feet and saw the amazing jobs they was still doing so jumped in and helped. I now do my best to try to support and help as much as possible and my face is there daily. Every staff member is now a good friend and lovely genuine people. An I’m over the moon about the new recent changes and the cafe opening. Proud of you all and the Cafe and food is amazing. Keep going I will support and help as much as possible. The loveliest of peoples and friendly environment and to top it off all child friendly and go above and beyond. Keep coming here! My fav pub in the area!
Absolutely love the Toby. Love coming with mates that regulars. Bar staff amazing and friendly. Liam Is a good friend and I hope everyone supports him and the Toby jug and any adventures that come along. I look forward to work and coming for a pint here even if me mates don’t come and I walk in on me own the lovely regulars and it’s a good environment!
