I have been going to the fox every time I go to the fox and the service has been good but it was specially good today as it’s Christmas the food was lovely and the he service was amazing I had a chicken burger and it was the best one that I ever had. And thank you to the amazing waitress named Niamh who served all the food to our tables.
First time I’ve had a carvery for year and I’ve left it too long. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere good and it must be really good cause there was a big queue but Donald it who was serving was very patient and friendly with everyone. I will definitely come again. Thank you Donald and team
I came with my family who live nearby when I was visiting. We all had variations of carvery and thoroughly enjoyed it. For a midweek evening, there was a large choice of vegetables and sides. It was a good amount for the price paid. Josh, our server, was very friendly and helpful. The only downside was that you can't order tap water on the "direct to table" app.
5 stars because the beef was delicious! Nice pub with lots of choice of food and drinks. We opted for the carvery, whilst there were only a few veg available, the quality of the meat more than made up for lack of greens
This pub has been recently renovated. The place looks good and the food is brilliant. Went to a Drag Bingo evening which was amazing fun.
The meals are brilliant and lovely off the menu, the new ones and I would recommend the fox to any one, the staff and the service is brilliant, and Amy & David was brilliant when we were there, service with a smile and got the food on time didn't have to wait too long considering it was a busy night
Nice inside and wasn't too busy with service and wait times for food (both ordered and carvery) very very good. The carvery meat was good quality with decent portions but the yorkies were overcooked, the peas dry and hard and the roast potatoes were not good at all. A lot of it seemed to have been soaked in butter or cream including the carrots and mash which does give a lot of flavour but can be sickly. Since one of our party has a low tolerance to dairy it really affected what they could eat and they suffered the next day. Staff were great, very friendly and welcoming. Would visit again.

Anna was polite and the pub is clean polite staff gorgeous food very worth it for the money. I would recommend the carvary and the rocky road sundae. I am back at the fox today and enjoying another fabulous night of lovely food polite staff. I would highly recommend here the food as usual would amazing the chef was polite and the waitresses was polite and helpful if you play darts they have a dart board (have to take your own) they also have a pool table as well
