We live local so this is always a good shout for us. My kids love it here too. Friendly staff and lovely food and drink.
Came here on Sunday for some lunch with my sister, mom and nephew. Food came out looking stunning and tasted even better. The chicken skewers are really good, portions are perfect and the service, even better. Jo seems like a fantastic landlady, always smiling and this reflects in her staff too. Couldn't fault anything from our visit. We will 100% be back. Thank you for a wonderful day.
Came here Sunday lunch with the family, was a great experience. From entering we were greeted with smiles and a lovely service at the bar. The manager Jo personally showed us to a table, and was making the kids laugh. Order was taken, reasonable 15-20 mins to arrive. Food arrived to the table nice and hot, and well presented. Kids enjoyed their meals and asked to come back next Sunday, I think it was more to see the fun manager rather than the food. I can say it was a good bit of pub grub at a fair price and friendly service from all. We will be back next week thank you.
Fantastic pub! The food options are great and they always come out hot and fresh. The drinks have variety and are cheaper than any other pubs in the area. The bar staff are fantastic at what they do, and Jo the manager goes above and beyond to make sure her customers are welcome
We had our wedding reception here and it was fantastic. They couldn't of done enough for us. The staff were absolutely fantastic. They made our day very special. It's our local pub and we come here most weeks, it's such a friendly, clean and fun pub. The gardens are lovely and there is lots of space for children to play. Highly recommend.
Held a wake here for my dad and the staff was fantastic so helpful and really accomodating, even sorting some food out at short notice which was great, lovely décor and a great atmosphere of being friendly and homely
Under new management and got to say what a relief, we have started going back regularly with our friends again. New landlady is very welcoming and open to new ideas, very friendly and clean atmosphere looking forward to trying the food! Ignore any reviews before October 2022 as old management and this place has now been completely turned around ☺️
If you remember the hobs from years ago, it's not like that anymore. It's much better looked after now, quite smartly decorated and they have decent beers on tap. The staff seem nice too
Fantastic new management! Received a warm and friendly welcome from the moment I arrived to the moment I left. Nothing was too much trouble for tge staff and they were very friendly and approachable... even starting conversations with you rather than just taking your money and saying "thank you" . I hope to become a new regular now its under new management.
