   we went here for my wifes birthday , we both opted for the sunday roast, i had beef , my wife had lamb. we both agreed the food was well cooked and tasty we also both had puds. i asked our server Liss for her advice and she told me the cookie dough was great and she wasnt wrong we were also served by the manager charlotte, who was very friendly and helpful we found the place clean and tidy, the staff were all really nice and helpful the food and service was first class

   I recently had an outstanding meal here and can't stop raving about it. The Fish Finger Bloomer was a fantastic choice—great value and full of flavour! The service was spot on, with the team greeting us warmly and checking in if we wanted another drink. The atmosphere was vibrant, and everything was impeccably clean.    Pre-booked Sunday lunch with drinks. Lots of tables inside and out and ample parking on site, this pub is on a main road through village so easy to find. Hand pulled Guinness was tasty, Food was quality although the indoor dining area was very busy and a bit cramped. Staff were friendly and efficient. After lunch we retired outside under a large semi permanent tent they have set up for some more drinks but we’re plagued by wasps. Need some traps set up to minimise the amount of wasps invading the outside dining area. Would recommend the venue and the food.

   Great canal-side pub! An excellent place to stop for refreshments if walking the canals. We will always stop in here for a drink/food when in the area. Staff are friendly and welcoming.

   Lovely canalside pub. Claims to be the only English pub serving handpulled Guinness which was excellent. Various other ales too. Very decent pub food, with daily specials. To be visited again and again....

   Fantastic! 5 star! Great meal and drink. Very friendly staff always make the experience that bit better. We didn't have to wait long for our meals, they tasted great, good quality. The restaurant was presented very nicely and it is right next to a nice canal view. Outdoor seating/dining area is available.
