   Went tonight and booked in advance 7-9 Service was very quick n good was nice not exceptional the chips were delicious though But then we got rushed out about 8 which we had book a 2 hour slot in the dining area Did say we could of gone in the bar area but we were comfy this is the only place I've been to which has rusted us out in just over 1 HR not best pleased

   The service was slow, too many people for 2/3 members of staff. The starter was good but you can't go wrong with smoked salmon, the main was unedible, Pie crust rock hard, roast pots and parsnip rock hard on the outside & fluffy inside, carrots were so under cooked, you couldn't even push a fork in, the only thing soft was Brussels sprouts so that's all I ate , can't say anything about the pudding as I didn't have time to have it and it was taking too long to box it up as most of us had to leave for school pick up. On the plus side the staff were lovely, simply too many people for the kitchen to cater for.

   We had an excellent evening on 22nd Nov with our family celebrating our Golden Wedding. The staff were wonderful and really looked after us. There were 17 of us in total with 5 children. The food and service were brilliant we felt really well looked after. Definitely going to call again. Thank you so much.

   The girl who served us called Molly was an absolute delight! She treated us with so much respect and made the experience feel so welcoming and warm! The food was brilliant too and the atmosphere was so chill and a lovely place to dine!

   Came in with my friend. Waited literally less than 30 seconds for a table considering it looked busy which was great. The lady that seated us was really friendly and nice and welcoming. After 5ins she came over and took our drinks order and then ordered our food about 2mins after. Literally service was perfect. Food delivered was delicious. Definitily recommend coming back. I work as a manager myself so I know what I want from my colleagues. And this is what I dream off.

   Lovely pub with a great choice of food although quite a few items were not available that evening. Our drinks order was taken within good time but then we waited such a long time for them we were definitely more than ready to order food and gave our order to him. Our waitress was wonderful and really pleasant but had a lot of tables to serve so not as attentive as expected. I have to say the lamb shank was delicious, so very tender and the gravy and mash perfect...would visit again just for this meal! Husband and son's steaks were sightly overdone to how they wanted them so consider that if you order steaks. Puddings were delicious but again not everything on menu available even though we booked an early table. All the food was well presented. Overall, an enjoyable evening meal.

   Birthday Meal on a Thursday evening for 6. Seated promptly, varied menu, quite busy inside. Prompt service to take order, followed by drinks order. Good arrived pretty quickly and everyone was very happy with it. Bill arrived promptly when asked and payment likewise - a very well run pub, with a varied menu and no fuss ordering too. A good place to return to.

   Decided to stop off for a drink and light lunch. Staff were lovely, we ordered drinks and chilli con carne nachos to share between the two of us. On a positive, little tomatoes were lovely but sadly that's the only positive. Felt it was very poor value for money - £9.75 for nachos with very small amount of chilli, very small avocado, very small sour cream. Plus, not much cheese which was "plastic cheese". Won't be having this again.

   The restaurant was pretty full and we had to wait around 15 minutes until our scheduled table was free for us to be seated. The waitresses attended to us quickly but the drinks took a while to arrive. The food was served with great presentation and in good quantity, however the rice was completely unsalted and the roast chicken was not very tasty either. The vegetables were well prepared and tasty. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained.

   Real ale was well kept and poured. Food was really generous and filling and nice and yummy. Seems like a popular local, small groups sitting eating and chatting but not much noise. Nice sit and relax type of pub.
