The whole process was poor - we booked in July and were told that Xmas menu wasn’t available yet but that someone would contact us to let us know once it was. We were also quoted an approximate price. We were not contacted, until a reminder text message that we would need to preorder food options. Went to the website and was appalled to see the price was well above what we were quoted. Veggie option listed was also pretty bad, lacking any of the traditional trimmings on a Christmas dinner. We were then contacted and asked to move our original booking back from 3.30 to 4 as you were overbooked. We arrived for 4 and were told our table was almost ready. We were not seated until almost 4.30 and food didn’t come out until gone 5. Mains didn’t come out until gone 5.30. When food did arrive, it was absolutely appalling. Some of our party couldn’t even eat their mains. Portions were tiny, food was soggy and overcooked, roast potatoes were abominable and sprouts were mush. Gravy boat smelled like a dirty dishwasher or dirty sponge. All round unpleasant experience. We wouldn’t return.

The atmosphere in the pub was amazing loved it. Best pub myself and the partner has been to in a while. The pub seems to be newly renovated which also adds to the pubs character, and attracted us to going to the pub to begin with. Food was goregous although portion's are quite on the large side. Large selection of food and drinks on the menu. The staff were really helpful and respectful. Really polite also and checked with us to ensure the food was to our satisfaction. Overall amazing pub and would highly recommend.

Nothing outstanding. Friendly and good choice of drinks. Well priced, especially with a food/drink deal. I gave the food a lower score because the burger left a burnt taste and lackedluster fries.

The service was excellent. My daughter has Ceoliacs and the young girl who served me was really helpful if advising how best to order. The food was served very quickly and was fresh and to spec. Everywhere was clean and the staff were really friendly. I have moved to the area recently and will definitely be coming back again. Only point I will raise but appreciate it may be due to the time of year but the garden area in the back could do wither the hedges being cut back a bit where you site just to open the area up a little bit. This was very minor though. Overall fantastic.

Place is ok. Guinness wasn't great. Tables need cleaning. Can't comment on the food as only had a drink. Couldn't order from QR code on menu as is clearly advertised on the board (see photo) maybe they need to take that down. Overall probably wouldn't return here.

This was our first time here and we enjoyed it. The meals were tasty and good value. Staff were efficient and helpful. Parking good and toilets were clean.

Large car park. We received a warm welcome. We went on a Wednesday afternoon and it was full of diners, always a good sign. Managed to find a table. Food was lovely and not too pricey. Will definitely return.

Nice pub with very friendly staff and very comfortable surroundings with sports TV if that’s your thing. The star of the show is the gorgeous food which has been consistently good every time I’ve visited. Out on time, piping hot and very well presented. Delicious pub grub even on very busy nights. Well done Foley Arms, keep it up. Can’t wait till next time x

We were in the area and decided to give this pub a try. Wasn't overly busy when we arrived but there seems to be ample parking. Nice outdoor area, but we ended up taking a booth which had a TV in it! Great touch! A drink, good company and the footy being on in the booth, what more did we need!? ..... aaaah yes food!!! Seeing as most of the group was vegetarian, it was nice to see so many veggie options! But sadly they were out of veggie burgers but were happy to talk about alternatives. Food soon arrived and everyone had a hearty meal. Sadly the nachos weren't finished, but they looked more like something you'd throw together at home. Yet, the rest of the dishes were pretty tasty. Wouldn't say it was cheap, but it was a fair price for what you got so no complaints there. All in all a nice pub to visit if your in the area! I'll defo be popping by again, got to try the veggie burgers! Enjoy!
