Well, it's a Joules pub so you know what you're getting. Great atmosphere, great beer, great bar snacks which are just enough to keep you going. A couple of tables outside for the summer, lots of seating inside too. Live music at times. Excellent.

A great find in middle of Lichfield. Some loverly beers on offer. If you do a search on Google the photo of this pub is wrong, but write up is ok.

Great little pub, been in here a few times on a Saturday evening. Always seems to be buzzing. It’s an old small pub so can get packed. Good selection of drinks. They do food too, but I haven’t eaten there. Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Needs to be visited.

Beautiful pub in the centre of Lichfield. Deservedly busy with a lovely pint on tap.

Joules brewery pub, with a small sample of their range. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Larger than it looks from the outside. A little gem of a pub selling an eclectic selection of beers and cider, as well as gins, etc. Snacks available at the bar as well. Some nice little booths which afford a little privacy.

The staff were lovely and appeared happy in their jobs and to serve you. The atmosphere was pitched at judy the right amount with the open mic that played just right in the background without overpowering your ability to hold a conversation with your company. The environment was clean, comfortable, spacious and welcoming. I would definitely drink here again and was so good that we returned there straight after our visit to the cathedral for a second session.

Much like the Cooper's Tavern in Burton, this is an immaculate real ale pub. Fantastic choice of well kept ale. Proper pub food options. Sympathetic, traditional interior. A quiet Tuesday night, the young lads on the bar were very helpful, not fiddling with their mobiles, ensuring the pub looks well cared for. Joules Brewery clearly know how to run a decent boozer. Visiting Lichfield, like decent pubs and great ales? Look no further....
