Beer's nice, but pay no attention to posts advertising football - went to watch the Liverpool Everton match as they had advertised it, ordered my beer (which was nice and the reason why it's not 1 star!) the match started, but there was no sound and we were listening to 80's music! Asked at the bar - turns out she wanted to watch the Coventry game, so she put that on the small tele. But the small tele is linked to the sound, so she turned the sound off! So the 6 of us watching the advertised Liverpool Everton game were expected to watch a silent match so 1 barmaid could watch the unadvertised Coventry game! When I commented on their post on Facebook advertising the game, suggesting they also advertise they will be showing the game in silence so punters can make an informed decision, the owners replied saying they can't see a problem with it and it was normal when there is more than 1 game on - so that'll be every game they show, as with all the channels available now, there's always more than 1 game on! They have now blocked me and deleted my comments, hence reviewing on here to make others aware. Overall, the experience I had in the pub, added to the lack of acknowledgement and awareness for a customers perspective make a strong case for why there were only 5 of us in there for such a big game!

A lovely small and cozy pub. We popped in for a few drinks before a curry and ended up going back after the curry. Good friendly service and a great atmosphere. Not sure if they do food as we only popped in for drinks.

Lovely bar food and great drinks - had an impromptu visit with my mum while shopping. Food took a little while to come, even though it wasn't too busy. Other than that, was a great visit

Went in to watch the England match with friends, great setup.. big marquee, with huge tv and quick table service. The new family that are managing are such incredible hosts, so friendly and welcoming. Great pub and atmosphere, highly recommended.
