   Table of six. Lamb rump overcooked but nice in the main, came with a Mini pie!! 1 bite pie, more like! Steak n chips looked bland and was overcooked. Turkey roast dinner was nice. Overall the food was tasty and enjoyable. Place was busy. We'll eat here again.

   Initially, the service was great, then by an hour in our server disappeared, and it took 35 mins to get drinks. The food arrived it was 7/10 the vegies however, were hard and inedible. would we come back.. probably not our first choice. Main food items 10/10 Extras 5/10 Service 5/10 Atmosphere 8/10

   Very nice two course festive lunch today. Well presented and tasty, table service a nice touch from friendly staff. I’d heard good things about this place and wasn’t disappointed. Well visit again, looking lovely and festive!

   Group of 3 adults. We came in especially for the Tom Shepherd Pie. It did not disappoint we all thoroughly enjoyed it not just the pie but the whole meal. Those carrots were top notch. The 40% off was an added bonus. Our server Millie was very attentive which added to the overall experience

   We had a lovely time thank you. We went for the Tom Shepherd Best Ever pie and it didn’t disappoint. Our server, Toni, was friendly and helpful and gave recommendations when asked and helped source my elderly mother a smaller meal via the children’s menu. We have only been here before years ago for my brothers birthday. My brother used the pub regularly. To be honest I don’t know why we haven’t used it more. Maybe we will now. Thanks to all. The food and service were great.

   March 2022 Just had a lovely meal in the Inkwell at Litchfield. Nice place with an excellent outdoor area. Great place to sit outside on a sunny day. All four meals were excellent and the staff very pleasant and professional. We will visit again when in the area.

   Nice clean pub, food was cooked perfect and staff friendly but if your hoping for a quite meal it's not here... kids running around dogs barking and slow service let our late valentines meal down.
