Fantastic pub really really is but OMG turn the frigging volume in the bar down on match days a little so we don’t all shout at each other - it’s great outside. We are regulars but may go to the Diggers in future sorry Only reason I gave it 4 stars for this reason

I visited the witton arms pub today with a few friends to see what the venue had to offer. I was utterly disappointed, bar staff rude and dismisive, the beer tasted significantly revolting everything was just off. A ridiculous waste of time and money my friends and I will 100% not be attending here pre game again and will be making others aware at villa park of our experience. My friend witnessed a near miss of potential SA inappropriate behavior which should not be tolerated but puts into light the management and what kind of pub they are running here in witton. A gentleman excessively touching another young chaps shoulder who didnt look a day older than 16 years of age peering over him while he was using the urinal. After he repeatedly told him to stop the older gent replied with "theres no harm in me having a look" and laughed it off causing my friend to intervene. This needs to be looked into grossly. To have a drink with friends before heading to villa park we shouldn't be met by a lass serving drinks at a bar who stops half way through pouring a paying customer a drink to answer somebody on her phone. I expressed my concern and was then laughed at by her and told to take a chill pill by a blonde haired gent with glasses stood dossing behind the bar who didnt look the slightest aware of his surroundings. This is 2 members of staff I have suffered abuse from and been embarrassed infront of my peers. Despite the fact this young lass was off colour it doesn't excuse her attitude towards me. This will be taken further as in my opinion this is absolutely appalling...

We really enjoyed it here before the Newcastle game...usually we use a different pre match pub but wanted to try something new. Was very busy but service was super quick. Great atmosphere, lots of singing. Strongly approved of the jugs of beer, very civilised

Popped in for post drinks prior to Guns n Roses gig at Villa Park. Despite a £2 entrance fee, supposedly because of the gig and which was fair enough, we had an amazing time. Great atmosphere, great service, the bar staff were amazing despite being busy, whilst I didn't have any of the food on offer, it looked great, many people were buying it, it was obviously a special food event because of the gig, but the whole event was well worth the £2 entrance, and we were told we could return after the gig for free (got a hand stamp) however we didn't as wed arranged a pick up. I used to live near here and I must say that The Witton Arms has totally transformed itself into a lively and vibrant pub. Well worth a visit!

The atmosphere is electric in there, and it's a great place to be before and after games, staff and security are very polite, they have food stalls in there and they have many bars throughout, Can't beat it before and after villa games

A truly dire public house whose sole purpose is to separate the visiting fans from their money, even charging entrance money. Poor range of relatively expensive beers. Appalling seating and table arrangements. Save yourself the trouble and bypass a visit to this awful pub.

Worst away pub I've been to. Inside for home fans, outside for away. Charge £2 for home and £3 for away. 2 outside bars, one cash only. Other huge queue to be told that the one card machine not working and charged £5 for a can

Large pub , pre Football. Limited choice on outside bar, but good friendly service. BBQ was available but didnt partake. Ideal for purpose
