Food was hit and miss but a good selection for kids. They sorted out a refund for my dinner quickly and with no issue. The other dishes were okay. Service was great. Friendly and welcoming. One bad experience but we would come back and try again.

The Billesley is my local and I couldn't ask for a better pub. I mainly take my 3 kids and they also love it. It's a large, friendly place, with something to eat and drink for everyone. Visited tonight, my son and I had the 2 for 1 burgers, not only delicious, but an excellent price. Great for families but they also have an over 18 section , incase you fancy a bit of adult time. Staff are always friendly and extremely helpful (expecially Tracey and Mark)

Very quiet on this first visit. The food was nice. Usually pass the pub on the 11C or 11A bus routes of which I saw several passing by. Car park - register car inside.

Visited here for Sunday lunch. Opted for the vegetable tart Sunday Dinner. As we love our gravy, we quickly emptied our jugs over the meal and very impressed with a passing server, noticing our love for gravy, offered to get us more. Meal was good but the pastry of the tart was on the tough side but was improved by being soaked in gravy! We ate every bit but I did feedback about the pasty to the server, who collected the empty plates, and this was very positively received and she said this would be fed back to the kitchen. For dessert we shared a sharing sundae which was delicious. Good veggie options and very kiddie friendly (little play area outside)

Superb place. Came here for the first time to watch BeMUSEd a MUSE cover band in the live music room upstairs and it was superb. Great atmosphere, affordable drinks and great sound space. I will definitely be coming back.

Friendly staff and a good selection of Meals are well presented and priced, tastes good served quickly. Interior is well decorated, clean and tidy with plenty of seating. Bar is for adults only if you want a peaceful area to sit, not many pubs have this option. Interesting pictures and maps on the walls of the area in times gone by. Good sized car park and easy access. If passing give it a try, not many good old pubs left that offer service and a friendly welcome worth a visit.

Great food, great drinks , fabulous service. Large car park at the back. Excellent service. Great family pub with family area where there are TVs in the booths. Waitress was very polite and even brought a spare plate for my son to enjoy the food. Lots of room and has an outdoor kids play area. There are daily deals everyday and the Greene King app works really well here . Top tip make sure u connect to the WiFi as mobile signal is weak inside. Finally , just to add the toilets here are brilliant, cleanest pub toilets ever !

Great meal at the hungry horse & a gig upstairs the new rock club, an absolute amazing venue. We're losing so many rock venues and I'm so pleased this has become one, let's keep this one going fellow rockers!! We will definitely be back. Whitesnake Journey were FANTASTIC.
