   Absolutely fantastic meal! All of the food was freshly cooked and delicious! I had the burger with salt and chilli fries, and mum had some vegetarian sausages with mash. The staff were really friendly and made us feel very welcome. Definitely be going back soon.

   I took my daughters and grandchildren to have a meal and evening out. The food is overpriced. the fish was just wet and white with no flavour and didnt even look or taste of cod. my egg covered my piece of gammon, it was so small. will not eat here again vile food..just not nice at all.

   First time at The Shire Oak and the last. Shocking food, soggy burger bun, overcooked burger rock hard roast potatoes and we had to wait nearly an hour in an empty pub for the pleasure. Do not get me started on the £3.45 pigs in blankets side order, 4 small burnt bits which looked like they'd been found behind the fridge. Look I'm not one for moaning normally but this is a place to definitely avoid.
