A great Greggs conveniently located on the high street for Pontefract that serves great food (nice and hot). Would definitely come here again for lunch!
Totally rude and ignorant older staff ignoring customers and then insulting them. Apparently the staff members name was Brian so obviously lied about her name. This place has gone down hill if any management check these this was around 10:30 on 1st of November now you'll be able to see who was working at that time. One staff members ruins the reputation of the who team.
We initially received a wrong order (no fault of Greggs, it was Just Eat who delivered it). We called up and Brandon was excellent at helping us and getting the correct order back to us. He even called up afterwards to double check. Brilliant! Never had a bad order from here!
Worst experience in my life with this particular Greg’s there is a lady over there believe her name was Wendy around 50 probably who can’t understand what customers are asking for she is clueless about what Greg’s is selling . Avoid if it s possible , Cheers
Only 1 person serving a queue that went out of the door and down the street. 3 more could be seen in the back and the 1 person serving acted like there was all the time in the world , no urgency at all. This is always the case in this branch , this store could make so much more money if they moved faster.
I spoke to Jodie at the Pontefract store after the driver on the map was elsewhere. She was AMAZING and helpful. Even though there isn't a way for us or them to help getting hold of the driver she was however lovely and patient and incredibly friendly. Embarrassingly they arrived whilst on the phone and we had a giggle. I was disappointed though once I opened them as the sausage rolls were cold and in packs of 4. We wanted warm. There were 14 which wasn't cheap so I wish they'd have got it right. But we can't all have what we wish in life I guess! Thank you Jodie x
Heard that there was a free sausage roll offer at greggs so went. Was 'sorely' disappointed :(

Queued for ages just for a festive bake and it was cold. Also tasted like it was a left over pasty from the Christmas before, even when I warmed it up!
Long queues all the time now,. Rarely have much choice left when you do get to the front And always seem to prefer to put delivery orders before Customer's in-store so just because your at the front of the queue doesn't mean either member of staff will serve you as they will more than likely be packing delivery orders. Two weeks back,Waited for fifteen minutes behind 4 other people at 10:30 on a Sunday morning and the queue never moved Delivery orders were packed up ready for collection though
