Stopped in for a quick breakfast as we were passing through. The lady serving at the till was incredibly friendly and kindly waited for us while we made our choices. The food itself was decent enough for the very reasonable price, but could have done with some kind of seasoning (e.g. the mushrooms and the tinned tomatoes... is tinned tomatoes on breakfast a thing?). But the bacon was good, the tea that came with the breakfast washed everything down nicely and the general atmosphere was friendly as numerous clearly very regular customers came in to eat or collect ordered breakfasts. One thing that I didn't realise when ordering was that the list of breakfast items on the menu are served in a bap. Maybe in a shop called Born and Bread, that's implicit, but could be made clearer on the menu, as it just says 'hot food'. In the local area there's not a great deal of competition but this small eatery serves a market for a hearty breakfast. Thanks for saving our hungry bellies!
