Iβve visited this place a few times before (without children) but after my recent visit with my baby, I absolutely would not recommend it to new parents. As a new mum recovering from surgery, I found the baby changing facilities to be quite unhygienic. To keep things as clean as possible, I laid my baby on a blanket over a waterproof mat on the table - something I, and many other parents, often do when changing facilities arenβt suitable. My baby was also cold, so I quickly changed his clothing. Partway through, a staff member abruptly stormed over, speaking to me rudely and very loudly about βchangingβ my baby on the table. It was humiliating, other customers stared, and I was left feeling embarrassed and completely unwelcome. I tried to explain that Iβd done this before without issue at numerous other establishments, but she snapped back, βYouβve obviously never been seen before.β Her attitude was unnecessarily hostile. She continued to pull faces and insisted that my baby shouldnβt be laid where food is served. This left me wondering: if tables are properly cleaned between customers, why would this be such a problem? Itβs also worth noting that the venue is dog friendly and as a dog owner myself, I can confidently say my baby is far cleaner than a dog. Adding to my concerns, I noticed staff members eating behind the counter and then returning to serve customers without washing their hands. This struck me as highly unprofessional and unhygienic, particularly given how strict they seemed to be about where a clean, protected baby could be laid. The inconsistency was apparent and only reinforced my impression of poor overall standards. Of course, I respect that every establishment can set its own policies, however inconsistent or unwelcoming they may seem. But there was absolutely no excuse for the rude, confrontational way this staff member chose to handle the situation. Her behaviour was unprofessional and downright cruel. I left feeling embarrassed, upset, and completely alienated as a new mum. I will not be returning.

Decent little cafe, the gelato was definitely the highlight. Wide variety of flavours, ( matcha and pecan maple were the best imao) . Lunch was decent and had great portions. Servers and staff were friendly. The only thing I had to point out was that the fork I was served had a large chunk of dried potato on which was kinda gross. ( this explains the 4* food hygiene rating) overall will be revisiting .

Great place to chill , meet, let kids play indoors and out, enjoy nature! Sit comfortably in or out, great ice cream and milk shakes ( as you'd hope at milk churn lol). The afternoon tea is great, food and value. Just good for a quick stop off even, for a nice scone and cuppa.. my little reward driving back from Seacroft hosp. My little nieces, love it too, nice environment, they always make nice new friends. Perfect to enjoy on a sunny day, and relax. Enjoy! X

I love ice cream, and when I say I love ice cream, I've been lucky enough to try it all over the world including Italy. Let me tell you, if I could give this ice cream 7 stars I would, this is in the top 2 ice creams I've ever eaten. The texture, the flavour and the options regarding the way it is served are amazing. Great work Milk Churn, awesome!!

First the gelato is delicious. So intense and incredible flavors. I had chocolate, ricotta and fig, and cookies and cream. The servers Shauna and Callagan were wonderful and explained the farm and the business. They are opened in winter 11 to 4p. I wish later for dessert expect you can take it to go earlier for your freezer! We enjoyed the ice cream and took a scone and brownie to go!

Lovely simple cafe, friendly staff. No oat or dairy alternative milk of any kind which seems very odd these days? Sandwiches and ice cream were very tasty. Great indoor and outdoor play area for kids.

This cafe is good if you just want a quick stop off for a light lunch or tea and cake. There is also a small play area outside for young children, but nothing else to see and do here. The ice cream is lovely - can recommend the Ferrero Rocher one. It is dog friendly too.
