   I called in for the quiz on a Monday Night. I visit a lot of quizzes. This is what I wrote in my diary "There is not a single aspect of this pub and quiz that I could be negative about. From the moment I walked in, to my chat on the doorstep on my way home. Landlord and landlady Janine and Ashley. Emma behind the bar. Chris inviting me to join his team. Every team. Structure, pace, sound, host, maintenance of engagement of every team. £2.50 in a 4 pound a pint world. The pub, the village, the product, the adaption; this is what SpeedQuizzing is for. The host, Carla, is in that draw of female hosts who are unchallenging in the nicest way possible, yet perfectly competent and clear, exuding a gentle humour evenly. I only saw her and spoke to her right at the end of the night when she was on her way out, I only wanted to tell her how good she was but did not want to sound sycophantic. She was that good I probably failed on that last bit." In a nutshell, I love pubs, am easily seduced, but The Queens in Pelsall has got something special going for it. I wish I could bottle it, I'd be a millionaire.

   5 out of 5 for food as the cobs are bang on! Great friendly local pub in which welcomes every body including the 4 legged friends. All the sport on, good singers at weekend and karaoke on a Sunday if that is your thing. We are happy to become part of the 'Queens' family.

   I visit with my husband or friends and Grace and her team of staff are always so accommodating to my odd drink (JD with soda and Diet Coke mixed) never have to wait long to be served and staff are always smiling. The pub has the background hum of a traditional public house, newspaper rustling, plenty of chat and laughter, dominoes being placed, the groan of a lost football match and of course the cheers of celebration. Great place to sit back, relax and enjoy!

   A warm welcome, friendly staff and customers, also has good decor, ambiance and fittings. Limited on guest ales with other very cold draught beers. Great to watch sport on extremely large tv. Well worth a visit or two.
