Welcoming and seated very quickly. The starter was delicious as was the carvery. We had to ask 3 times for our dessert and then only 1 came out and had to wait again for the other. Other people who were seated after us had their three courses and had left before we got our dessert.
Shopping in IKEA and we got hungry so came here for some grub! I thought it amazing it was so busy till I was reminded that the kids are off school! We found an unreserved table and tried to order on the app (found through the QR code.) But we couldn't adapt the mac and cheese to not have BBQ sauce, so went to order at the bar. Lady was super helpful and put all the notes on for the kitchen. Considering it was pretty busy the food arrived in about 40 mins, which wasn't too bad as we were chatting away. Everyone enjoyed their food. The mac and cheese people loved theirs. The veggie burger was lush. Chips portions were a little small. Yet all in all and nice place to go for food and a get together. Reserving tables here seems to be the norm and it's a good shout. Parking is free without having to put in your reg which is really nice. Hope you enjoy your visit. ENJOy.
Me and my family came here and it was great. We came on a Tuesday for dinner and so it was quite busy. We would recommend having a reservation as it can get busy and especially if you have a big group. It has a big car park and so easy parking. The food here is amazing like I got the Mac and cheese and it was perfect there was absolutely no problems it wasn't to cheesy and was perfect filling meal. The veggie burger was amazing and the flavour on all the food is amazing. They have quite a few vegetarian options which is always good. If you need any modifications recommend going to the bar as they are more accommodating than the app.
Bar was very slow service as there was only one person on even though pub was nearly full. Toilets were disgusting with blood on the floor and poo. Halloumi fries were just greasy flavourless batter. Chips were ok but my nan can make chips and she’s dead. Also idiots were playing Christmas songs on a random Sunday in September?????!!!!!! How is this place still running!!!!! (Also don’t get the hunters chicken)
The staff here were so friendly, coupled with a dog friendly pub makes a great find. I couldn't comment on the carvery as we just missed it, it finishes at 8pm, got there at 820pm. We had the veggie chilli and that was great. My first choice was that the vegan curry wasn't available, so I may go back to try it. I wished they did cola refills like Toby Carvery
We come here around once a month for Sunday dinner with family and always have a lovely experience. Love the carvery! Lots of choice and always fresh. Staff really friendly too. Lots to choose from on the kids menu. Highly recommended.
Good menu and people seemed to be enjoying the Carvery on offer. Food OK, but the service was slow. Staff friendly.
After waiting for 48 minutes to be served our order as they thought we had starters (child's only) the hunters chicken I had was hard, the chips looked and tasted like they had been reheated along with the onion rings none of which I could finish. Lasagne that my daughter had was mushy and salad looked wilted and poor quality.. I have had to give 1 start as not able to give 0 stars. I would not recommend eating here.
Went for the first time last week and the food was amazing, the service was really good, staff are so friendly ..and very efficient. Food is freshly cooked straight from the kitchen to the carvery. What a lovely place to eat. Highly recommended.
