   Beautifully clean and well run place. My little boy had Yule log and declared "this is the life" while eating it. He's also asked if we can come back for breakfast! As coffee shops go this is doing all the things you'd expect, but it does them really well.

   ☀️ Monday brunch break at @bakesbyvanillabean in Wakefield— much-needed stop in that heatwave. Went for an iced mocha and iced pistachio latte (both hit the spot), with a pistachio banana loaf and their buttery biscoff croissant. Sweet, nutty, and just right after a sunny walk.    Lovely, great cake and lovely staff. The coffee was really well made. Me and my toddler felt very welcome and we played happily while enjoy our cake for 40 minutes. Would definitely come back.

   Loved this place. My wife works just down the road & has visited plenty of times & mentioned it to me. On Sunday, we stopped for coffee. There are too many cakes to choose from, literally like a kid in a sweet shop. It was amazing. I went for a Biscoff Cookie & Dark Chocolate Cookie, she got a Blondie & we had a Caramel Latte & an Oat Latte. The drinks were excellent, really tasty. The desserts were amazing. I will continue going back here. The guy who served us mentioned that his wife did the baking. He was such a friendly guy & his wife is an unreal baker. 10/10 & i couldn't recommend enough.

   The best coffee in Wakefield. And if you like sweet traybakes (and now serving breakfast croissants) this is the place to come. We’re not tolerant of very sweet stuff but we love the coffee and love to sit outside and look at the fabulous views up Wood St. Owners /staff are very nice.
