Finally stopped in here for an early lunch after missing out a few times because it was too busy. For Β£23 we got 2x bottles of coke (full size), 2x giant muffins (one Apple & Cinnamon, one choc chip), a salmon & cream cheese bagel, and a mozzarella, tomato and basil pesto panini. The lunch mains were not over-heated and had a generous amount of fillings. All the ingredients tasted good quality. The muffins were beautifully presented, but tasted great too. They had a nice slightly crisp top, with very soft and fluffy under. Again the flavours were great too. All the food was freshly prepared and delicious with good portion sizes. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming and we didn't feel rushed through the till process, and was welcomed with a smile. The only thing I would say, is they could benefit more seating/bigger property as it's always pretty busy for lunch. I'd say this is an excellent alternative to pret, Starbucks or Costa, at a competitive price with better quality, fresh food.

A very good coffee cum muffin break indeed in Wakefield's center. Very good variety and although the pricing point seems to be indimdating but the quality and satisfaction totally proves worthy of it. Very good ambience and dine-in experience too. A very good place for a short break if you have been tired roaming round Wakefield's city center all day round.

Sunday 12th October: The woman that served me was so rude and unprofessional. I got welcomed to the till with βyesβ which was rude to start with. No customer service skills whatsoever. I then waited at the table for my food to come over. The food came and it was ham and cheese which is far from what I ordered. I then when back to the till to tell her I ordered tuna and she snatched the receipt off me acting like I ordered the wrong thing. Luckily another member of staff apologised and sorted it out for me. But the woman behind the till really needs to learn some customer service skills. I wonβt be returning again.

β 1 Star I have just had one of the worst experiences Iβve ever had in a cafΓ©. I came into Muffin Break Wakefield and placed a simple order for a chocolate cake and two lattes. Over 20 minutes later, I was still waiting. During this time, what I believe to be the manager and a member of staff began arguing β not quietly, but screaming, shouting, and fighting both in the shop and in the background. The atmosphere was incredibly uncomfortable and disturbing β not just for me, but for every single customer present. It got to the point where I didnβt even have the courage to ask for a refund or leave, because I genuinely felt they might turn their anger on me. I just sat there, feeling trapped and deeply unsettled. This was completely unprofessional, unacceptable, and left me very upset. A cafΓ© should be a welcoming, calm place for customers β not somewhere where staff disputes spill out in full view of everyone. Truly shocking experience.

Been here a couple of times now. A lot more choice for food than my usual costa and the coffee was good too, can't fault it. Chicken and ham tortilla particularly nice

Sloppy service asked for Flat white got large milky coffee. Drinks where just slammed on the table. Couldnβt get a panini as they where all cross contamination with other products.

Came to the new shop in Bradford Broadway, very nice interior decor and seats fairly comfortable. The coffee was very nice with a liquorice flavour about it but would be nice if they asked if you would like milk with the americano. Food was lovely and had a good assortment of sandwiches, paninis, bagels and some festive ones thrown in there. The selection of sweets is very good but was left a little disappointed in the muffin we had (orange and cranberry). Whilst it was very moist with a slight crispy outer it was overall just lacking in flavour, a few hidden cranberries inside but no orange flavouring what so ever apart from the small slice of orange adorning the top of the butter cream. It tasted a bit too much of flour or what ever raising agent is used. Overall experience was nice and would come again to try other sweet goods and definitely the coffee. Also the table was fairly wobbly which was unexpected for a new shop and the music was fairly loud in places.

One of our regular haunts for a coffee and a snack. Nicely situated in Trinity Walk shopping centre with lots of space and the large windows give an airy and spacious feel. It's all on one level so good for pushchairs/wheelchairs and there is an accessible toilet. There is a good selection of sweet and savoury snacks that are brought to your table. In general, friendly, helpful staff. I chose the scone with jam and butter (although I did have to back and ask for those as the server had forgotten). Lots of choice for coffee and it's always nice and hot.

Very lovely place to spend your afternoon, very fair prices and eveything is very presentable. The place is very well kept and was very clean when I visited. The staff was very friendly and explained the difference between the different drinks that they serve. I would recommend anyone to go take a look and have a nice cuppa of whatever you fancy. Lots of seating, family friendly and also OK if you want to spend some quality time with a book and a hot drink.
