   What can I say other than Wow!, if I could have given more than 5* I happily would have done without fail. My Wife and I came in today (Sat Nov 29th) and we both had a Ploughman's and my wife had a Latte and I had a luxury Hot Chocolate. We wanted to go place different day, as we usually go to R.H. Binks Butchers in East Ardsley then just go to Starbucks for a drink on the way home, knowing that R.H.Binks has got another site in Horbury we wanted to go somewhere different today, I googled nice coffee and cafe places on Horbury, and we had a look at some others online but the best by far seemed to be "Rich and Fancy" . On a very lousy wet Saturday afternoon we really wanted to go to Horbury for the first time, eat and drink at "Rich & Fancy" , when we went in the door it looked wonderfully clean, we were greeted very well and shown to the adjoining room on the right and we sat at a table next to the cooking/ preparing area, I was amazed at the gorgeous looking "Cream Teas" that were being prepared by the owner, so carefully with interest and enthusiasm, the food on all 3 levels looked absolutely delicious, so fresh too. I was going to have a sandwich but just before the server came up I changed my mind to have the same as my wife a Ploughman's Salad, so glad I did, (I'm sure the sandwich would have been absolutely delightful - with some great combinations that they had on offer such as a Tuna and Red Onion, and a Great sounding Cheddar) But I plumped for the same as my wife. When the food arrived, wow it looked simply stunning, very well prepared and visually you wanted to eat it as It looked fantastic, every ingredient looked so fresh and tasty, the items on the Ploughman's were, some gorgeous ham( a very good portion too) some very tasty Cheese, tomatoes, pickled onions, half a pork pie, some great pickle, pea shoots, cucumber, warm fresh tasty bread. It was simply stunning; I can honestly say it was the best Ploughman's we have ever had !, we have payed more than this before for a million times worse honestly. Literally everything was so tasty, my wife and I had clean plates. Excellent atmosphere in the restaurant, people were chatting happily and there was a real buzz in such a fantastic place. The price of the food and drinks was absolutely great, people will happily come back again and again ( I know we will for sure- probably once a month we said) the portion size was very nice too, the customer service was awesome - I have worked in Customer Service for over 37 years, and you only get out what you put in, the staff were outstanding from the 2 or 3 girls serving to the owner preparing the super tasty food. We left a tip as we felt absolutely everything was excellent from the service, the ambience, cleanliness, and the food & drinks were wonderful. My wife loves her Coffee of a good standard, we have been to many cafes, restaurants etc and so many use cheap nadty coffee but my wife assures me it was excellent also. You have a brilliant business, we will definitely come back very soon. I felt compelled to leave a great review and hopefully everyone can read this review as we truly had a wonderful time at Rich and Fancy today. Thank you so much. Stunning. 100% 5* on everything. Look forward to visiting again in a few weeks and we will probably bring my Mum in too from Skipton who is with us for Christmas. Thank you. Neil

   Love this place! Had several visits, and every time, the service, and the food have been spot-on! You sense immediately the friendly atmosphere from both staff, and the clearly happy clientele. Definitely worth a visit!

   We decided to choose Rich and Fancy for an afternoon tea for my little boy’s baby shower. Organising this was really straight forward and they helped very quickly with any questions that I had. We were able to bring our own alcoholic drinks for a small charge which suited our party well. They were also great at helping with a slight change of food for one guest due to allergies. There were around 15 of us and when we arrived the afternoon teas were set up beautifully. The quality of the food and presentation was really high and it really made the afternoon special for us. We were given boxes to take home any remaining cakes which we appreciated. Service was excellent throughout which made us feel at ease. We would definitely use this venue again in the future.

   Wonderful little café with wonderful staff. Tucked away, but worth the visit. Coffee was delicious, as was the lemon drizzle cake. Sandwich was filled to the brim and was equally tasty! Will 100% be visiting again.

   Absolute gem of a coffee shop, tucked away in the little village of Horbury. The owners go out of their way to make your visit perfect. Their afternoon teas are fantastic, such a variety of treats and very reasonably priced too! This is my favourite coffee shop ever! ❤️

   Waited 45 minutes for a platter and sandwich in the freezing cold shop, got home and they hadn't even put the crusty roll and butter or crisps in and hadn't even bothered grating the cheese in half the sandwich (see picture). Rich needs some social communication training as he is very short with people. The poor lass working with him was really nice- hence the two stars. If he gave more responsibility to her then things might not take so long- she's more than capable. A real shame as we have previously enjoyed takeaway platters before.

   This is without doubt the best cafe in Wakefield . The food is delicious. Its fresh and inventive. I had a spicy chicken salad bowl and the flavours were amazing.

   We love it here, great food and great prices. Their afternoon tea is one of the best we have eaten, and we've tried quite a few. We also ordered cupcakes and cakes for Christmas and a birthday celebration, they did not disappoint
