We love it here! My children have just told they would rate the hot chocolate and Malteser caramel shortbread 5 stars! A great place to visit

Our first time here and we’d now travel a fair distance to choose to go again! Warm, friendly welcome; speedy service; great tasting food; delicious cakes and baked treats and reasonable prices too. Lovely atmosphere and delightfully accommodating for children and families. Those running this place are doing a superb job!

Really cute, welcoming café with a fresh, clean vibe and lovely decor. The display of cakes and pastries in the window is super inviting! We were seated quickly, and the space is large enough for both small and bigger groups. The menu is split between breakfast (served until 11:45am) and lunch from 11:45—both with plenty of delicious-sounding options. We went for breakfast: my brother had the Eggs Benedict and I had the vegetarian breakfast. Both were tasty, well-cooked, and nicely presented. Two good cappuccinos too! Service was friendly and attentive—everyone had a smile on their face. It did get a bit noisy around midday with lots of mummies and babies arriving, so just worth bearing in mind if you’re after quiet. Cute little “buggy parking” section by the front door. Bench in the front window with high stools, so can look out on the street / sit with laptop. Overall, a great spot. We left full and happy—would definitely go back and recommend! ⭐

Great cafe. Quite a few tables. Nice atmosphere. A few little bits to help keep the kids entertained, like books. The menu is quite small but what they do they do well. It’s really nice food. Good quality ingredients, some menu choices a little different. The quiche and sausage rolls look good. The staff are very friendly.

Nice cafe on Horsforth High Street. Staff very welcome and accommodating. Plenty of selection of cakes, coffees etc. Baby/pram friendly with plenty of seating areas. I had the chocolate cake which wasn't too bad, just a little dry but that could have been done to it been out a while. I would return to try some of the other treats on offer!

Been a few times to this place. Very enticing when walking past with the fridges filled with yummy cakes/ tray bakes and savoury goods. Stopped for a coffee today with my best friend and my baby. Plenty of room for the pram and very accessible. Lovely inviting staff who were attentive and eager to help listing off all the yummy cakes in the window. Great service and lots of choice. I had a dark chocolate millionaire slices and black Americano. Have also had a breakfast here before which was delightful, the chutney that came with it was amazing!

Visited for lunch with my 9mo and my brother, the food was nice I thought the menu was a bit limited but what we had was lovely but as others had mentioned a little on the pricey side before taking into account locally sourced produce etc. unfortunately I don’t think I could recommend this place to my mum friends as for the duration of my visit I did feel like we were in the way, as we arrived with the pram and they asked if we would mind leaving it at the front as there was not much room for manoeuvre in the dining room bit, but when a table left and it was evident the baby needed out of the high chair for a nap I went to go get the pram so he could sleep in it and they quickly asked me if I could move it again so they could seat people on the table behind us. I appreciate that space is tight but I don’t think this place can call themselves child friendly if they cannot accommodate prams and as a result of all this I did feel like we were an inconvenience to the staff and the other diners

This place is brilliant. When we entered we felt really welcomed. It is spacious, light and clean. They catered well for my pram and they provided an ikea highchair with a cushion for my baby. There is a changing table in the toilet too. I had a banana and strawberry smoothie which was filling and really refreshing. I ordered the tomato and mozzarella tart. It came with a lovely salad and coleslaw. Delicious food! I have visited three times previously and have never been disappointed. They sell really nice treats, books and an assortment of gifts too.

As regular customers it is great to be able to go into Truly Scrummy and sit down to eat and drink. We recently went for lunch and it was great to see all the staff again after 3 lockdowns. The menu was familiar and we ordered the fruit smoothies x 2 and New Yorkshire Deli x 2. Delicious tasty and good. Great service. They don't call it Truly Scrummy for nothing absolutely scrummy.
