4h of drive to sort 2 passports for mine children. Less then 30min later all done. No queues in front of building or to security screening. On this ocasion no waiting for mine slot inside either. We were seen eaven before. Visiting in past similar place in London I can say only Manchester. To book appointments we used web page system and agreed for putting mine name in queue. This means you will get a email with suggested appointment date and time. For me this worked well.
Very helpful and polite staff, conducted the appointment in English Unfortunately the booking system to get an appointment is quite difficult, having to log in exactly at 9am or 8pm and all appointments being taken within seconds. The majority of low ratings for this place are due to this system and not for the hard working or helpful staff.
Can't book appointment for weeks . Joke... like I have time to check every 10mins if there is availability to have appointment. I am willing to book in advance even if there is a long wait but if you working full time like i do and in prison facility I dont have an access to my phone at all . Other facilities seems to move forward but you stuck on going backwards dragging people with your unreasonable rules . Sort it out is outrages .
Just got my passport renewed. Appointment scheduled for next day, professional service when arrived there. Less than a month and received email that my passport is ready for collection.
Impossible to book appointment. My daughter passport is finished and her id has been lost. Keep trying and trying and trying to book appointment for months now,waking up during night to do it and it's always the same. As soon I am trying to book visit,all appointments has been taken. Why is it so hard,why they making so hard to book appointment? I arledy had to cancel a holiday because of that, another one is in April but I really don't think I will be able to book any appointment. I basically beg lady at the ambassy to book appointment for me over the phone,no not happening. I send everysongle possible email, nothing,no answer. I think my daughter will have to wait 4 years until she is 18 ,maybe then we can get appointment. I don'tind where and when I just need passport for her
New Consulate's passport department is located on the ground floor. Enter on appointment only through security check. When you get your online booking which is no very easy due to booking limits, all paperwork and service is quick and simple in here. Consulate clerk was very helpful and kind.

Both me and the girlfriend accidentally went tooled up so I had to wait in the pub next door with the knives as there is a scanner you have to pass through on the way in. She said it was a fairly good experience though and to give it 5/5. Could do with some of the crying children being removed though.
