   We call twice last week to make a booking and travelled from Bristol to meet family for a meal We arrived. There was no record of the booking and food was not served until 4 pm. Very disappointed will definitely not return We have found an alternative restaurant close by

   The Crown is now a great place to eat and drink The current owners have completely redone the garden and added pods, a patio, barbecue and covered seating areas. Live music events are always fantastic and even better that they are free entry. The food is now fantastic. Freshly prepared, excellent quality and generous portions. The staff are friendly and customer service great. A perfect local pub.

   Visited with wife and son. Had a couple of drinks in bar and the Guinness was spot on, and the Stella fresh and served perfectly. Then had a Sunday lunch which was really nice, just could do with some horseradish for the beef. Lady serving very attentive and couldn’t do more for us.
