Visited Jack Wolfskin Liverpool One this morning. The service was excellent. The young man who attended to me was friendly and extremely helpful. He was knowledgeable about the walking shoes I needed. He was informative about how to care for the shoes and gave me a protective waterproof spray for free. It was a really positive experience.
Good variety of stock and staff are super friendly. More expensive than the equivalent store in Cheshire Oaks, but on our with other outdoor clothing stores in the locality. Staff will also check if they have extra sizes in the stockroom which is very helpful and I managed to get the size I needed this way.
Terrible service, walked in and was greeted by a member of staff I said hello, I'm here to buy boots and i started walking upstairs as I knew where I needed to be, and the store assistant used his walkie talkie to let the upstairs staff know that "a female is heading up the stairs now to look at boots" when I reached the top a chap was waiting and before I said anything he said " here's the boots what type was you after" at this point I said none and left it was all a little too full on and in my face I wasn't given the opportunity to just browse and I was wanting a jacket too. I felt like a shop lifter and it's a little rude radioing to upstairs staff, I've never felt so uncomfortable in a store.
Nice good quality outdoor clothing, the staff are now much more friendly and helpful than they were on my previous visit almost a year ago, maybe then the staff were having an off day as we all do sometimes, good sales here too when they have them with some great bargains to be found
Very nice store. A lot of products. Nice team supporting with personal service and support. Would return any time to decide on high quality garments for my outdoor time.
Very poor quality zipper was always very difficult to fasten, after maybe a dozen wears the zip became detached from the jacket and couldn’t be fastened. Buy North Face next time just better quality.
