   We ordered hummus and pitta bread off the children’s menu as none of us were really hungry. As expected it was a very small portion. When we came to pay we were charged for adults menu!!! The surly lady behind the counter would not back down even though we have been regular customers. Won’t be returning.

   2 drinks and 2 inedible “melts” for £18. Very strange service, got bombarded as we walked through the door. The older lady working there got in a strange mood because we hadn’t decided on drinks yet, even though she was politely asked to let us have two more minutes to decide, got in a huff and a puff and stormed downstairs. The food was awful. 2 raw baguettes with a burnt edge on one side, not sure how that is possible but they achieved it! . Sloppy tomatoes, half melted grated mozzarella and some oil dripping out of it which was meant to be “pesto”. Only positive thing was my canned drink! Pricing is absurd for the food that was given.

   Stopped for a quick coffee. Service was quick and friendly. Used upstairs seating which was quite and had a view out to Lindley high street. Limited downstairs seating. So not ideal for those with prams or limited mobility.

   Popped in for take away coffee today, coffee was fine but manager was miserable, impatient with her staff and atmosphere was very unpleasant.

   Have been before and it was lovely, however today the poached eggs were hard and there was a hair in the milk jug. The young lad serving us however was lovely and polite. The lady downstairs just a note if you going to comment on a customers weight I suggest you either wait till they have left the shop or keep your opinions to yourself. You don’t know if they have health issues. Very rude and impolite
