Chips are an absolute 10/10 crispy outside soft inside, with an insanely good seasoning and incredibly chunky. We ordered the vegan sausage bap and the onion bargie bap and wow they were incredible. I cant reccomend it more!!!

First time in the Bay Tree Bistro and it didn't disappoint, When we walked in it was service with a smile, was how we greeted by a lovely young man. He brought us the menus and told us about the specials board, when he came back with our drinks was happy to chat to us about the local artist pictures I asked about. We both ordered Steak pie chips and peas with the special secret recipe gravy. I did ask how it was made but lips were sealed, the meal and gravy was delicious I would highly recommend this bistro.

Attended on Bank Holiday Monday April 2025, service was excellent, the menu choice is amazing, there is something for everybody, I went for the Burger of which there are multiple choices, mine was a freshly made burger accompanied with Pulled pork, lovely side salad and amazing chips. It is refreshing to eat a burger that is freshly made and cooked to order (medium rare in my case) All reasonably priced and the fresh cooked food and fine service means I shall be definitely returning. As an aside all the party I was with (7 in total) had same views. Cracking place and would recommend, you will not be disappointed.

4 stars as we arrived half hour before they were closing, so we didn't get chance to sample any food. The coffee, tea and hot chocolate were nice. The staff were friendly and the cakes looked good, so we'll be back to try. The atmosphere felt nice and relaxed too.

Very friendly young woman, front of house. The vegetarian flat bread with caramelised onion, mozzarella, basil, pesto & tomato was just awful! No pesto, soggy onions approximately 1/2 lb of cherry tomatoes & no basil. This concoction made the bread wet! . It was inedible. For £11 I really would expect it to be made with love. Nice coffee according to my companions.

Had a lovely small English breakfast which was all cooked & tasted perfectly and glad I didn't order the big breakfast as it was filling. Lovely Eggs Royale, poached eggs cooked just right and coffee very nice, & dog friendly
