Wonderful service and delicious Shakshuka. Such a generous portion! The best way to warm up after a freezing morning

A nice little place just 10 minutes away from the centre of York. We had breakfast here two days in a row, trying both sweet and salty dishes, and every time we left satisfied! The staff is absolutely adorable and the vibe is nice and cozy ❤️ we'll be back on our next trip to the UK Grazie mille ❤️

Lovely little cafe, nice decor, very interesting menu which I believe changes every so often to keep things interesting. But sadly my daughter found not one but two hairs in her meal (mushrooms, leeks and eggs on sourdough toast), which being typically self conciously British we didn't bring up at the time. So two stars off, one for each hair, which is a shame because otherwise the food was delicious.

Been wanting to visit for ages but never got around to it before today. Food was beautifully cooked and presented. We have the full English and the savoury French toast. You’ll leave happy with a big smile on your face. Service really friendly too and our dog was given a free sausage! Will definitely be going back :)

Had a brilliant meal here with my business partner! The staff were so friendly and helpful and the ambience is excellent! I had the Hungarian goulash which was fantastic, and my friend had the peanut butter burger which he said was amazing. The desserts/cakes were such impressive designs that you couldn't even tell they were cakes! But they again were very tasty. Will be bringing my wife soon for some more Goulash! Highly recommend!

Lovely little cafe, not much seating space (about 5 tables inside plus a bar with stools) and outside seating. But great coffee and food, especially the Polish options (Pierogi). But mostly British favourites. Very friendly chap who is the owner. Makes an effort with his customers. Also free WiFi. Free parking right outside.

Excellent coffees and the food was fantastic! The hollandaise sauce on my eggs Benedict was one of the lightest I’ve ever had and I loved the extra muffin to soak up the sauce. And on top of that: really friendly service. Big thumbs up!

I have had brunch and lunch here multiple times because it’s outstanding. The staff are incredibly pleasant and helpful and the food is all home cooked and made with love. It’s worth absolutely every penny.

Popped in by chance because the little one was hungry! Really good shout too. Mrs got the croque madame, and I ordered the shakshuka. Sure, there was a little wait, but we weren't rushing. Delicious, simple as that. We then had to try the cakes too, obviously. Again, clean plates speak for themselves.

Cute little cafe, popular in the neighborhood. Nice coffee and hot choco, tasty food with generous portion. Their cakes look amazing but unfortunately we don't have the space to try it. Recommended!
