I visited the Liverpool store today and was served by Olivia, she was excellent in every capacity. She was pleasant, professional, helpful when I asked for advice and throughout the sale she had such a pleasant manner even though she was dealing with another customer as well as myself. It was a really pleasant experience and I will certainly shop there again. The range of trainers was exceptional with every colour you could possibly want plus I received 20% discount on both pairs I purchased. A great visit. Thank you Olivia.

I struggle buying shoes. My feet are a weird shape and few shoes seem to fit me. I went into Skechers in L1 today. And was helped by a lady named Michelle. She was amazing. I must have tried on 13 or 14 pairs of shoes. Time and time again she went into the back room to get more shoes for me to try. She was so patient, even when I was getting impatient. She was never pushy, just super helpful. Thanks Michelle. You've made my feet very happy!
Male member of staff very unhelpful. Guy with dark hair, beard and glasses. I asked if they had any wider fitting boots, or any that he thought would be suitable as I have wide feet and he just said "no sorry." So I left, came back half an hour later and asked a nice blonde lady to try some boots on in my size. I knew Skechers usually have a roomier fit than usual so I wasn't giving up. They fit perfectly and were a lot roomier than usual shoes. If I hadn't have gone back I would be empty handed and wouldn't have ended up spending £95 in their store. The man needs to learn a little bit in sales and how to respond and help customers rather than just fobbing them off.
I went in to this store in L1 today at 5pm. It wasn't that busy with 2 staff there. I approached the male member of staff who was putting some shoes away. I asked him if he was free as I wanted to try on a particular pair of shoes. The ones I had were my size but felt to big. As I was explaining he just kept saying what size do you want in a very off hand manner whilst walking away. I asked for a 4 which the other assistant brought over then left me. The male assistant was actually the manager. I've bought a few pairs of sketchers from here and the staff are usually really helpful. Not this one though. I've worked in retail for over 35 yrs and the least I'd expect is someone to be polite.
Lots of stock to browse without being pestered by the friendly, well-informed staff. Have different sizes in the back, so find the ones you like and then ask staff to advise you on which they think is best for what you want to do. Then they will get the size you want to try them on. As they do half sizes you should try at least two pairs, in my opinion. I began with my usual size 9, but found that 8 and a half was better for longer walks in the style I liked. They have been excellent for 2 long walks & walking to shops, etc. Well packaged with verbal & printed advice on care. A pleasant zero pressure experience.
Lovely shop and loads of lovely styles of sketchers. All the staff except one make were very good. Maybe it was because I am older to him but I noted he got me the shoes I wanted then left me and went and served a young female and I asked if I could have another size and he just got some one else to help. She was really helpful. I bought the pumps I wanted and unfortunately the other ones I liked were just a bit to slim for my foot. I have given five stars as just because one member of staff chose age over service it does not reflect the fact that the other staff were helpful and happy. I would return to the shop as it did not put me off at all.
