Saturday 20 minutes waiting for drinks. Paper mugs. Coffee cold Toast with frozen butter pat and PLASTIC knife to try to spread it and cut the toast. Definitely gone down hill. Will find another cafe
Have gone to this cafe twice now 1st time asked for a bacon sandwich and was told they didn't serve them only on market days. 2nd time arrived at 14:00, and was told they had nothing left in food only buns, the cafe is supposed to be open when the market hall is, my advice avoid this cafe due to pathetic none existent service.
Usually have a cup of tea here. Order and they bring it to your table. Cool and airy in the Market Hall. Selection of pastries too. Recommend it
As usual, very nice place to have a drink. Great staff, lovely coffees and teas with assorted desserts, salads etc.
Lovely and bright, staff very pleasant. Can't wait to go back, food great
No table menus, order at counter (awkward when on own if it's busy as couples get the tables), assistant was helpful, Coffee was fine, toastie tasted ok. Food and drink arrived at table hot, everything was clean which made it perfect for me. Went back to counter for cake which was massive and sensory overload!!
Hidden gem in the Market Hall. Clean and spacious restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, tasty food, reasonably priced and a lovely cuppa - courtesy of the Northern Tea Merchants - give it a try!
