We had breakfast with Santa yesterday, fantastic breakfast, Santa was excellent and had the time for everyone and never rushed you. Will definitely book for next year again. 10 stars out of 10 Glapwell Tea Room & Coffee Shop thank you so much and thank you Santa.
We had the Christmas Afternoon Tea today. It was lovely, the food was fresh and tasty, it was well presented and Victoria took great care of us throughout. She worked so hard! I would highly recommend the tearooms.
Visited today, Saturday 15 November with 2 young children. Lovely café, with lots of children’s Christmas crafts on sale. Sweet Christmas decorations out, including a post box for Santa - our children enjoyed posting a letter to Santa. Cakes are delicious. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, despite being very busy.
Really lovely place to stop for some quick lunch, the afternoon went down treat and the cakes were great. The staff were really friendly and helpful.
Visited morning Tuesday 10th October. Lovely, clean dining area. Nice outdoor area too. Fantastic selection of cakes! Quick service. The staff on that morning were super friendly. Very competitive prices. Easy parking. I believe they do a loyalty card too. Will definitely be revisiting.
Had no problems with the cafe, nice cake and drinks at reasonable prices. Just a bit disappointed by the garden centre itself. I know it's the wrong time of the year but a lot of the plants looked to be in poor condition.
I had lunch here with my friend. The staff here are polite, efficient and friendly. There was a good selection of meals available for me, and several drink options too. They had 2 different kinds of gluten free cake. I had the lemon cake, which was delicious. We had to have another drink after our main courses, because we were a bit too full to eat cake straight away. We sat right in front of the log burner, which was lovely. There's always a lovely atmosphere here and it was very busy, which is a testament to how good the food and drink is here. I'm looking forward to my next visit.
Visited here before Xmas. Large eating area which is very popular. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. Ip am not surprised it is always busy, very good English breakfast for £8. Plenty of parking, well stocked nursery.
As it was my first trip out out for my bday (and after having a hip replacement) I was a little skeptical at first. I wasn't disappointed! The food was delicious all fresh with the atmosphere cosy due to the log burner being on (in one area). The staff were attentive and lovely. We couldn't ask for more. The access is through the shop, all on flat on one level/no steps, with chairs and tables all spaced well, to accommodate wheelchairs/pushchairs etc with a disabled toilet in easy access. Always worth letting them know if it's afternoon tea or larger groups just incase, at least they'd organize seating arrangement etc. Highly recommend and it'll definitely be in my top 5 places !
Lovely vegan afternoon tea and cake! Unfortunately a bit short-staffed so there was a long wait for food and they forgot my drink. However, the quality of the food and cake made up for the wait, it was worth it!
