They said that my friends car needed new lower arms as they were wrong size, and they couldn't do the tracking. They were brand new from a reputable parts supplier. Went to another tyre company round the corner car was tracked perfectly with nothing done to the car. Very poor service!!

Very happy with the service they offer, have been using them for years. My car can be left with them knowing that they will take care and contact me if any issues arise or when the work has been completed. Always recommended to people who ask me where I go to get MOT and repairs.

Booked for MOT and service... MOT was cancelled due to their machinery being broke. Re booked MOT and service.... lots of advisories which I fully understand...however when we have been to other in the past garages and had advisories they have gone through them with you. Halfords did not. Car had to go on diagnostics machine as engine light was on ( yellow) colour, so asked Halfords if they could fix the problem, they said no we don't do that particular problem here. Also paid an extra £50 to get discounts... what discounts? Would I go there again? Absolutley NOT.....

Booked a service, van went in completely fine to come out limping. After some calling around this can sometimes happen when resetting the system causing the DPF system to block and isn’t something done deliberately or on accident. I’m told this would have happened at some point. But upon phoning the garage when I got home after losing powers all the way. They decided to pretend the message and lights were already showing on the dashboard which they were not. So already the trust goes out of the window. And as they hadn’t actually done anything wrong initially it’s concerning that’s their first response. I then spoke to the manager who was making a better explanation of the situation but when I began to get confused how a working van could suddenly not work he got heated and rude. If I’m honest I didn’t originally want to use the garage as they have been careless with my previous car and partners car damaging oil and coolant caps and just forcing them back on. Unfortunately the Halfords garage I wanted to use couldn’t service my vehicle size. I had heard bad things about the garage previously. But it’s safe to say the situation has left a sour taste in my mouth and I or my partner won’t be using them again.

Have had occasion to use Halfords Auto Centre 3 times recently, for a service, an MOT, and a diagnostic problem. We have had very good customer service. The staff particularly on the front desk are cheerful and helpful. A good experience all round.

Tyre ordered on the morning, fitted in the afternoon, very helpful and pleasant staff. I will definitely return for my next tyre. By the way, it was a good price for a quality tyre.

Shocking. This is the worst garage that I’ve ever had to deal with. It’s unorganised, unprofessional, inadequate and if I’m honest, shambolic. They have messed up my appointment twice, the first time they let me book an appointment for a service and when I got to the garage there was no one there, even though they sent me confirmation and reminders via email and text. Then after spending hours on the phone and sending several emails I finally got help rebooking my service that I had already paid for and as an apology they sent me a MOT voucher. At the time I thought that this was fair until I went to have the MOT and I was told that I wasn’t booked in. Paul on the front desk was quite frankly rude and unapologetic and then he tried to imply that it was my fault for turning up without booking an MOT, even though I had confirmation texts and emails. He sent me away from the store telling me that I couldn’t have my MOT done. I then spent another hour and a half on the phone (mostly time spent on hold) to customer services who then informed me that they now have no space at the Tamworth Branch for the next 3 weeks and I will now have to travel to Lichfield to get my MOT done and a week later than it was originally booked in for. They have refused to pay travel expenses for the wasted journey and not compensated me for my travel to the Tamworth garage, which entirely due to their error. I can not stress enough how much I would warn people away from using this garage in the future as it’s quite frankly awful !
