Lovely pub with a fantastic newly decked beer garden. Great atmosphere and friendly service. We didn't eat so I'm unable to comment on the food unfortunately. Would definitely recommend and return.
Not all bad after the takeover. However sort the bloody music out. Its like walking into a student union bar. This is Copmanthrope and a locals pub.
Great Pub, and restaurant. Grandchildren love going there.
The Royal Oak is a great local Sam Smith pub with that òld world ambiance of a traditional pub good beer good atmosphere, would recommend to anyone.

We went to try the new tapas menu We have a selection and they were very tasty. May be good to do a deal 3 for ? Meatballs. Tempura prawns and crochettes the best
If you haven't been to the Royal oak you have to go. Food excellent. Homemade, tasty, great portions, and the cheescake yummy.Service warm and friendly perfect hosts. Parking great. We will be back. Even our baby daughter loved the ice cream. Thankyou. 5 star .
