Been visiting Sheffield for 40 years, walked past the entrance many times. My loss. A wonderful oasis of quality food and human kindness. Family run, and it shows. Will definitely return.
Proper English cafe run like military ! Great food and value for money! We had 2 large butties to take out.
Hidden gem found while looking for breakfast after an overnight stay, Fresh food, great value and lovely, friendly staff. While we were there, a frail elderly gentleman came in who was obviously a regular, the kindness the staff showed him was absolutely heartwarming. Please treasure this local business, you won't find fabulous service or like this in a high street chain.
Absolutely loved this place - the ambience was calm and serene, the family running this place are warm and welcoming, the food was value for money and flavorful. I will miss this place.
Passing today I thought I'd stop for breakfast. I went with the "biggie" which is supposed to be a large breakfast for £9.99 To be honest I was disappointed. The quality of food itself was good, and what you'd expect from a backstreet cafe, but the portion sizes are small amd a big let down! 2 bacon, 2 sausage, 1 egg, beans and 2 slices of toast & a cup of tea. No hash brown, no mushroom, no fried bread. Granted i should've paid more attention to the menu board when ordering, but when you order a breakfast labeled "biggie" you expect it to be big.. The staff themselves was nice enough and the cafe appeared clean. Would i come again, being honest, im not sure, I left rather disappointed rather than full.

Nipped in for breakfast after a night shift .the food was lovely.the ladies behind counter were very polite and food was ready really quickly. Definitely will visit again a gem of a place.

For me this is a mecca for good honest well cooked food from the large sandwiches to the full English there is always a smile and friendly words early morning it's very quite I have been eating their food for many years now and have never left unhappy so please wether you want your yolks hard or soft you get the choice, brown or red sauce big portions or little portions it's all on offer including tasty sweet treats and well done sarnies on the level of hygiene see you soon guys blessings tal
