What an amazing hidden gem of a place this is! As soon as I walked in I felt a charming and friendly atmosphere. Every members of staff were welcome and kind, The food was fresh and exceptional (I had the pie) The owner (sorry I forget her name) was amazing with my little boy, she won him over in the end with ice cream. The decor at Christmas felt cozy and magical along with the open fires burning away. Thank you for an amazing experience, we will be back for sure

Absolutely wonderful stay here last week. Very friendly welcome, nothing too much trouble. Rooms were lovely, clean, tidy and furnished beautifully. Had an evening meal in the restaurant which was lovely as was the breakfast next morning. Would highly recommend a stay here.

I had a wonderful stay here! The rooms were tidy and welcoming. The bathroom is spacious and well-maintained. The hospitality was truly amazing. Everyone working there was so kind and attentive, always making sure you were well looked after. One of the highlights was the live music in the evenings, which created such a warm and enjoyable atmosphere. Shoutout to Chris Taylor! Overall, it’s a place that goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great stay.

Wooden beam pub with open fires. Friendly, efficient staff. Beer is standard fare. Nothing special. But the food is excellent. Amazing pies. My hot goats cheese sarnie was yummy. Well worth a visit.

Our first time dining here and so glad we did! We each ordered starters and mains and shared a dessert, it was all delicious. Service was great and there was a really lovely, cosy atmosphere. Would come back here again, esp being a short drive away. Thank you!!
