Lovely Sam Smiths pub. Very helpful and welcoming landlady. Marked down due to lack of variety of drinks. Sam's bottled beers are good but not available due to a lack of demand. No red or rose wine either. No handpulled beer. Glad that it's reopened and is meeting local demand.

I did like this place but I dislike the breweries current policy of no modern technology. I was on my own and got a friendly welcome. Who do I have to talk to? No one. Am I still bound by this ridiculous policy yes. I am going to avoid all Sam Smiths pubs in future because of this policy and also because of the price hike. They were cheap but have now hiked up their prices by 50%, a half of Sam Smiths stout now costs 1.70

Great place to relax and unwind. Friendly atmosphere, local beers, great land lady/Landlord. Don't be put off by the "smiths" beers. No hangover the next day!
